6th Gen Do you tip?

Yeah, I always tip the largest amount possible. Don't know why, really. I was never interested in catching shinies and didn't even think about it boosting the chances of encounter. I guess I just.... felt guilty when I didn't tip...

I think I'm taking Pokemon games too seriously xD

I always give tips, though not usually the biggest ones. I just thought it was cute little detail, and went ahead and did it before I even knew it had actual effects on the game. xD

I normally tip the middle amount whenever I can afford it. I'm not even sure if it's beneficial to me in any way, but I like doing it regardless.

I always tip the highest amount I can give. At first, it was because of the rumor that tipping well increases the chance of shinies. Now I just tip the highest amount because it's a force of habit and I can afford it.

I've done some tipping before, but not recently. :( Largest amount of cash I've ever given would be somewhere around 10,000. It hasn't affected me in any way at all, which caused me to stop.

I never tip. It is a waste of money, because there is no proof it makes anything easier or improves anything.

Masuda stated in an interview that the purpose of tipping will be announced soon.

I've always tipped since I started the game, and reading the above has made me more confident about doing so. I always regret when I accidentally mash B past the opportunity to tip. But hey, there's a cafe in Lumiose which allows you to infinitely-tip. Whenever the purpose of tipping is announced, I imagine people will be flocking to it.

(There are some theories people have that Friend Safaris have different rates of shinies appearing... I wonder if tipping affects this? Just a random thought that came to mind, but I doubt it.)

Huh, I always wondered if there was any benefit to tipping. I never did it. Apparently I wasn't really missing out, since I got all my style points buying dusk balls in the pokeball shop.
