During my first time through a route, I'll go without Repels, as I probably need to collect something for the Pokedex. if I'm in a hurry to get somewhere along a route (i.e., to an EV training spot) I'll use Repel to bypass areas quickly and without fuss till I get where I need to.
I'm always careful to keep a heavy stock of Repels on me just in case the unthinkable happens. Better safe than sorry.
Very rarely. I always keep a good stock of them, just in case I'm in a tight spot. (For example, all but one of my Pokémon have fainted, and I'm very close to the exit of a cave or something, and I wouldn't last long battling my way through.)
In my earlier days of playing Pokemon, I never used repels because I didn't know what they did but now I've grown wise, I use them a hell of a lot more. They save a substantial amount of time.
I only use them when I'm going through a cave. I've seen enough zubats and geodudes. I probably wouldn't use them so often of there were a wider variety of Pokemon hiding in the caves.
I use Max Repels all the time. I usually buy 99 of them whenever they are first available through the main storyline. I think I have like 400-something on my Platinum. XD
The only time I don't is if I feel like catching without a pokeradar. I hardly ever catch any pokemon, so it's really just a waste of time not to use them.
I occasionally use them when I'm trying to chain Pokémon with the PokéRadar but otherwise I don't really use them much. They're a waste of money until after the Pokémon League, where you can actually afford to buy them in large amounts.
I always use them..... i hate encountering wild pokemon that suck....... And i have to use a repel everytime i RNG Catch something as well just incase i need to turn and just incase i dont encounter a poke which would mess up my frame XD
