I agree, I'm really not a fan of Pokemon locking the complete experience behind "3rd versions" or pricey DLCs. Z-A will presumably launch at $60/70, and at that price, it's only fair to include everything in my opinion instead of making people pay an extra ~$30 for the post game.

If Pokémon prioritizes optimization and releases a polished game first, then I'd be willing to pay extra for a DLC.

I totally agree with @RMVNZ ; give us a stable game and the give us the following DLCs:

1. A Looker-esque DLC that sees the MC assisting the international police with something big.
2. Something that brings back the hidden base mechanic from ORAS -- field research for a Pokemon conservation effort, or something in keeping with the themes alluded to in X & Y (Balance in nature, ect.)

If he game is good and not a huge mess like Scarlet and Violet on release then I would not mind. I'll buy it either way honestly but I expect the game to be pretty decent since they are taking time on this one.

Not a fan about how Pokemon DLC has been handled previously (basically locking the postgame behind it) or the price to value ratio of it. If they need to do it to create a stable game upon release, then fine. But the Sw/Sh and S/V DLC seemed more like a cash-grab than anything else, and that's not cool.

I just hope that the best fashion outfits aren't locked behind having to buy DLC, like in Sw/Sh (I wouldn't have bothered with that DLC except that the fancy party dresses were unlocked with it. Those were some expensive dresses. Still worth it.)

But yeah, if it's extra-cost DLC, there better be a damn good reason why we should have to pay extra for it. "Extra story scenario" doesn't cut it, BTW.
