Speculation Do you want Nessa to be a part of Ash's companions?

Just like Iris and Misty, Nessa is a gym leader, i think her adding to the main characters would make the pokemon Sw/Sh anime version more interesting, also just like Misty, anime Nessa could of have her midriff baring outfit modifed

I personally just think Nessa is a little out of the age-range to be one of Ash's companions, even if she was like the older companion instead of it being a male companion that's older. Rather hold out and wait to see if someone closer to the usual age-range of Ash's companions comes along instead.

I don't see how being a Gym leader would make her as a companion more interesting, usually the Gym leader companions get the least amount of screentime every series, although they've gotten better in the later gens with Clemont and Cilan.

While I like Nessa's design, I don't know if she would work as a companion even if they de-age her. We just had another female pokemon trainer on the cast like Lana, having a third one right after that feels like overkill. I also heard she has a Goldeen in the games (although I'm not sure if that's confirmed or not?), so I don't think having another Goldeen on the cast to do next to nothing for hundreds of episodes is ideal. It certainly wasn't the first time around.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'd rather the SW/SH protagonist be Ash's travel companion, tbh. I don't want another water-type specialist travelling with Ash. If you ask me, it'd be boring, since they've done it before.

Yeah why not but I do agree it's really boring on this point to keep pulling water-type Pokemon trainers. At least make her specialist in another Pokemon type.

Everyone have their own opinions about each female and male companions. I like Brock and Misty but honestly their not my favorites and I wish that more than just those two were in Sun/Moon especially since we have now two generation of companions that haven't come back again.

Okay so I love love love Nessa, but I don't think she should be playing second fiddle to Ash. As great as it would be to see more of her in the anime, I'd hate for her role to be minimized down to 'potential love interest' or 'damsel in distress' when it comes to the average female protagonists. I wouldn't mind seeing Hop or even Sofia being travel companions with Ash, but Nessa I think is legitimately just too good for that role.

I hope you seriously don't believe this will happen, because you're bound to be let down. It's been 17 years since the original series ended, they're not going to have any role on the main cast ever again.

Yes, I know, but there at least might be a chance for them to come back as a minor character like just appear for two episodes, then begone, and I changed my mind I want Nessa to be Ashes companion.
