Do you write fanfiction?

I wrote fanfiction, a long time ago. I'd written before then, but I didn't get serious about it until I wrote my fanfics. I guess I was just a bit more passionate about them. ^^;;

I mostly wrote Pokemon fanfiction (with the vast majority of them being part of a series), although I did write a few fics for Yu-Gi-Oh.

After awhile, I realized that my series didn't work in the Pokemon universe, so I made it original fiction. I haven't actively written fanfiction since. ^^;; Part of it's due to having my hands full with all the original work, but the other part is me not having inspiration for fanfic.

One day, I do want to write a good one, more as an apology for being so terrible years ago. XD;

Aha yes...but whenever I post it in public (which is barely) I compromise on the spot. xD Usually just Pokemon, others are just stories I make up.

Rarely. They never involve shipping, and are usually so far from the source material it can be considered its own thing in a sense. For example, "Prohibition" (I'll be posting part two soon ^^) is a Golden Sun fanfic (which normally involve, you know, more middle age technology) with revolvers and a smoggy disgusting metropolis. Also, I am never really a "shipper" with the fiction - usually my storytelling has some kind of theme besides "we're such a cute couple lol".

I wasn't thinking about posting it, but someone told me it was far enough from the source material to allow people to understand it without a ton of background...

Most of my writing is very cut and dry, but most people don't say it's boring - they say it adds to my eerie style ^^

Yes i do. Im currently working on one now. when i get done im going to post it on here. :D

I had started writing a Pokemon one in the past when I was still really into Pokemon, but that didn't get very far. I haven't written anything since and probably never will.

Yes :D! It's what drew me on here in the first place. I started on Serebii and published all my fics there, and I loved reading other fics, so I thought I'd look for another forum. VOILA PC~.

anyway, to the actual point of this topic. I used to write fanfiction, mostly shipping stories which you can find in my old threads. I like writing, but I don't do fanfiction anymore. it was fun though and I still enjoy reading really good ones :)

Pokemon, CardCaptor Sakura, Digimon and Mega Man were the only series I've ever written fanfiction for. The latter two however, were lemons and bad ones at that. I wrote the CCS one mostly because I was unsatisfied with the second movie's ending and needed some closure. So what better way than to write my own? And the Pokemon one was initially a oneshot for the fanfiction competition here on PC but I missed the deadline and decided to make it a short story instead.

As of right now, I've stopped writing fanfiction. It takes too much time and concentration, both of which I have none. (=3=)

I used to try. But 3 years ago my fanfiction sucked epically. However, last year I got very good reviews, but I decided to cancel publication because I am never able to find any time to do fanfiction.

Maybe I'll do a full blown one in the summer. I dunno.

Nope, I stink at writing too much. It's not my strong suit so I'll read them occasionally, but I dare not write lest those who read have their lunch spoiled.

I write fanfics, every so often in my spare time. Writing is something I find to be pretty fun - I'm not a fast updater but at least I'm consistent then. XD I do intend to keep going with it as well. One's a sort of parody/comedy take on Pokemon Colosseum, and another's an attempt at a tragedy after a idea got firmly stuck in my head. And I have various other story ideas. Too many, really.

No. I don't roll that way.
