Hmm. It seems to be aimed at kids more so in America than it is in Japan nowadays, if you take time to notice the increased violence and profanity. And, yes, I do think Dattebayo is much less annoying the Believe It. I like the sound of "Dattebayo" and it sounds much better than believe it. It blends into the subs.
Naruto is aimed at the same demographic both in the U.S. and in Japan, 6-11 year olds. Watch it, enjoy it, whatever, but don't make it out to be something it isn't. It's not some super violent anime about the profoundness of the universe. Don't be fooled, just because standards are different in Japan doesn't change a thing, it's just a shounen fighting manga / anime aimed at children in elementary and middle school. That's exactly the same range it's aimed at in the U.S. and those are the viewers it's getting. If you don't like the fact that they edit it, buy the DVDs, if you claim to be so much of a narutard, support your fandom then, give money back to the people who put hard work into the production.

Alright. I didn't realize that Japan had different standards although it's understandable. Actually, no, I like the Japanese versions much better than the english. I support my Fandom buy doing things other than wasting my money on DVDs when I have every episode up to Shippuuden 24 downloaded on my computer.

Grand larceny and copyright violations are how you support your fandom? With fans like you, who needs bashers?

Every episode you download robs Masashi Kishimoto and Studio Pierrot of the money they need to make more manga and anime. Every DVD you buy gives them the money they need to do their respective jobs. To paraphrase Gordon Gekko, "Greed is good."

I download them for my convinience. And it isn't like I don't buy DVDs. Besides, Naruto is an extremely popular Anime so I think Masashi Kishimoto and Studio Pierrot aren't exactly begging for more money. Thousands of Narutards download the episodes. So don't single me out.

Put in simple words, dubbing devides the movies Audio and Video, they never match and I hate when they do.

i know all dubs aren't bad and there are those a lot worse than naruto but i guess it just seems worse when you're used to watching japanese anime all the time. Enjoyable English dubs i have seen are wolfs rain and full metal alchemist.

Full metal alchemist was unwatchable for me:( i didn't get what order the episodes were in so i couldn't watch them after downloading them in the right order but i watched one episode and the dubbing seemed ok.

I wonder if its if you watch a dub right away that i looks fine. I only ever watched dragonball in English and that was a Japanese anime and that was great!

for me it depends on if you can tell how much emotion the convey through the characters voice for me that is very important. Acheive that and make the voice not too annoying and you can make a perfect dub.

lol was just the other day i watched it, for me the english version is way too far behind for me though lol

Im on about naruto , well i say that but im on naruto shipuuden now

Shipuuden is the series after naruto, (Naruto Shipuuden AKA Naruto Hurricane Chronicles )its when they come back after three years of training,
the series started after the flood of fillers ended

Can I hear an AMEN?

God the fillers were unbearable *head explodes*. Except for a few funny ones but I couldn't stand the fact that they weren't...Well....Real.

I hate Shippuuden Ino.. >:O

english dubbing? I hate them
Chinese Dubbing is not a threat because they mimicked the voice of the actual seiyu

90% of the time I prefer watching anime in its original language with english subs. Though there have been some anime's I prefer watching in english like FMA, Hellsing, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

If you haven't seen the Pocket Monsters raw then you can't fully appretiate it. The raw and dub are worlds away in quality.

There are Anime that change a lot during the dubbing proces.

Biggest exemple of anime being ruined:
Beyblade:
1) original soundtrack was replaced by some annoying english songs. >.<
2)English voices are bad, prefer the Dutch ones. xD

Of all versions of Beyblade, I prefer the Italian dub. Voices are amazing, and the original soundtrack is still there. *hurray*

The differences between the voices of the Original D.N. ANgel and the English D.N. Angel are huge. The only voice I like so far is Daisuke's. Dark's voice is wierd 'cause it reminds me of Edward (FMA). The Fullmetal Alchemist dub version is great, but after watching the sub version, I prefered the Japanese version.

I think it depends on what you like the most. =|
