If i get an event pokemon then backup my save, then trade the event pokemon loads of times just through the save backup. does that count as hacking?

I don't think so, it sounds kind of like a Dupe..

    Which most people don't mind.

    Great idea! ._.

    Now to backup my save.

OMG!!! This is a great idea because i have loads of pokemon i want to trade over from platinum but dont want to give them away

@the explorer of destiny: Move to where? Did i post this in the wrong part of the forum?

It should be moved in the Pokemon Gaming General questions .
Sorry for minimodding, but this is for community questions . Also, if it's Dupe then I think it's legit . IDK exactly because I don't use these methods .

Oh, its just that i thought it should go here because i only want legit pokemon because i dont want to get into trouble for trading hacked pokemon on the forum.

This is a very useful method indeed. I used to use it all the time, until my flashcart went bad. T^T Its also not as tedious as cloning pokémon.

The best place to ask this is Trade Corner's DCC.

Technically, the event Pokemon is not edited, so it remains legal. Flashcart cloning is fine. :B

Just mention that it was cloned (there are some anti-clone purists in Wifi section).

However, you cannot offer cloning services for others (just a formality so no one cries "He stole my Pokemon!" and blames PC and blah blah you are responsible for your Pokemon).
