Does water have a taste for you?

I only drink filtered water. /snob

But seriously, it wasn't until I started drinking filtered water that I realized how gross the tap water around here really was, so I haven't gone back since.

Depends how thirsty I am tbh.. I'll drink my H2O as long as its not nasty looking and such...

But I can totally tell the difference between tap and filtered, lol.

We have a water filter/chiller at my house, and I find that the water does taste a lot better after it's been through it. Beforehand, it tastes kind of like pennies. Not sure if that's a good thing.

As for bottled water, I much prefer the Pump brand over Mount Franklin. Mount Franklin tastes a bit like pennies too.

Yes, it tastes like... like dust or old... linens or something. It's horrible. But water is pretty much the only thing I drink because I get extremely dehydrated very easily and soda is a killer. x__x I miss you, soda.

Water can have a taste for me, whether it is still or sparkling. I made a mistake of getting sparkling water in Spain, and that was awful.

In The Netherlands, tap water is really really good and tastes neutral like it should. In England however I find that the tap water has a subtle taste of chloride, as well as in France and I'm always quite reluctant to drink it there, my grandma always has bottled water for the same reason. The worst tasting water though is definitely SPA (bottled), it is absolutely /disgusting/.

surprisingly, yes, water does seem to have some taste -- for me (and some of the people here) at least. the water i have at home has what i regard as the "standard" taste. the water i sometimes use to refill my water bottle with in my uni tastes a little different -- i think it tastes more... artificial? gosh i don't really know how to describe it, but it tastes as though it's been cleaned.
some of the water i've also drank, either from abroad or through any local supply that isn't ours, tasted "purer" and somehow... lighter. i don't know, i can't really describe their tastes very well, but you get the point

Dasani water tastes the best to me. I hate Arrowhead. So there's obviously a taste difference and something in them changes it.

Tap water tastes really bad for me, and I can tell between brands of bottled water, so I guess that it must be a yes XD

My city , St. Louis , is known for it's excellent tap water. I prefer it over bottle water honestly. The best water in my house comes from kitchen. Water from bathroom sink is ok and worse might be from the depender on our fridge. The fountain water at my high school was probably the worst water I taste though fountain water usually is awful.

I can tell the difference between hard water and soft water. Hard water tastes kinda horrible as it has a much larger amount of impurities and minerals and other bad stuff in it. Soft water, on the other hand, is really nice and refreshing to drink. It's always nice to visit my parents at home because I grew up in an area where soft water was the norm; living in London means if I want nice water I'd have to buy it bottled, which just seems like a waste of money, kinda.

Just so you know, I'm not really a water person.

In the Philippines, there are many sources of water, but the water me and my family drinks everyday has a weird ... taste.

Bah, I don't wanna' talk about it anymore. >o<

Eeeeh, tap water is fine to me, though on occasion I have a bottle of water, and then afterwards I dislike tap water until I get used to it again. Some of the bottled water tastes fresh, or sweet, or something, it's hard to explain. In general, I'm fine with the "taste" of typical tap water, though. To me it has a flavor, even though it really.. doesn't have a flavor.. or something. omg. XD
