I'm assuming Froslass is supposed to be short for Frost-Lass. o3o
And the bundle of sticks in Cofagrigus comes from sarcophagus, he he he.

And the HG/SS Pokedex entry states: "Legends in snowy regions say that a woman who was lost on an icy mountain was reborn as Froslass."
so Frosloss woudl Frost and Lost
and Froslas is still pronounced the same
