Kill la Kill did not strike me as anything more than average. 'tis just the first episode though.

For me the best first episode so far was probably Nagi no Asukara. Well, that or Golden Time, have been waiting for a new series from the Toradora! writer.

There are a lot of things I'm interested in again this season but I also want to get through some backlog. Will be putting a lot of new things on hold after one episode until they're finished.

When I heard Red, I almost flipped my lid. Junko (I think) does the exact same voice for Red that she does for Endou. I'm looking forward to it...I mean, she's not the person I'd pick for the character, but it's appropriate, and she puts a lot of enthusiasm into her role.

I'm also interested in who'll be playing in the dub.
