I leave my contacts in from when I get up until when I go to sleep. Then I just throw them away. :> The joys of having Daily lenses.

2. My reflexes prevented me from ever seriously wearing contacts... I had to be pinned up against a wall in order for my head not to leap back, and someone had to put them in for me. Never got any better at putting them in...

As long as your contacts don't get dry, you won't slash your corneas...XD;
I've never come close to slashing mine. They're soft and rubbery and wet. Just don't let them get dry and in the wind. ;; I've lost several contacts before and found them with dirt or dog hair on them, so I'm forced to get a new one.

1. Thinking on it... I prefer eyeglasses over contacts. Easier to deal with, and for some reason I have really sensitive eyes.
