Indeed. What can be more fun than killing Magikarps?

22.

I could totally help you with that and give you a W: 8, L: 3. /has never really battled competitively. only once against her friend, which was an unfair fight because it wasn't wifi. thus, her levels were higher other than his Hitmonlee.

I like the rival's hat because I like people with hats in general, from what I've realized with my favorite characters.

I get the concept of EVs. Still have no idea how IVs work other than it helps your Pokemons' stats.

/why is she watching this show? oh right, because she's too lazy to change the channel. :U

5.

Aye. I know how it affects the Pokemons' stats. What I don't know if how you figure out what IVs your Pokemon has.

For that, you'll have to know your Pokemon's stats, nature, and EVs as well. Just plug those values into an IV calculator like Legendary Pokemon's and there you go.

Of course, there will be some inconsistencies if you are using lower leveled Pokemon. It is always better to use the highest level Pokemon possible to calculate your IVs. For example:
My Impish lv. 29 Skarmory with a 117 defense stat and 176 Def IVs. Serebii says it has a defense IV that can be anywhere between 28 and 31. However, I know that its defense IV is 31. Hit load and Calculate Individual Values.
At lv. 100, the same Skarmory's defense stat is 396. Serebii now confirms that its defense IV is 31. Same here.

I have no clue what I just said either.

So for just hatched Pokemon, would one level them up while watching the EVs they give to the Pokemon, then at a higher level use the IV calculator? When's a good lower level to do so?

I don't think there is one. :x

But, the higher the level, the easier it is to get a better idea of the range of your IVs. Finding matching characteristics can help narrow it down further. The Stats Judge in the Battle Tower is also a good indicator of whether you have overall good IVs or not.

If you have to know your exact IVs, quickest way would be to get into a wi-fi battle and play under lv. 100 rules. That way, you can check your Pokemon's lv. 100 stats and calculate IVs without error.

Alrighty~ /will see 'bout doing that in the future the. (b'')b The only thing I knew when it comes to IVs it the guy in the Battle Tower that you mentioned. I simply go to him and see how decent my IVs are /snuggles Lucia, who has superiors IVs apparently.

OT needs to become more active in general.

/is watching Soccer in Spanish. Oh gawd why.

Because you're bored, perhaps? /goes back to NCIS and training his Jirachi in HG

No, it's because my Uncle and Aunt wanted to watch the game, and watching that was better than watching Bakugan. XD

OMFG GAIZ, I'm done watching both seasons of Haruhi, now I can watch the movie! I don't even care that it's a crappy, cam-rip, I'm just happy that my hours of watching the some-what entertaining first season and the boring, mulit-parter 2nd season aren't going to go to waste.

I'd give Season 2 a 5 if it weren't for The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya Part IV, Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody and Endless Eight VIII. o3o

I think I may be one of the only people who don't rate the animu/manga I watch. :U
