24. Having tried both on the same computer, OpenOffice isn't as good as it used to be. Though it's still free, whereas the cheapest you can get Office is $80, and only if you're a college student. If you have the money, Office is better, but if you don't wanna drop the money, OpenOffice is really your only choice.
@Ryu: Why would it be a shopping spree? I can do those anytime, really. I mean, I have a vehicle I can drive. :V
