Oh yeah, "Emmie" was inspired by Dragon Tales. And that nick lasted 'til 8th grade when I learned there was someone in the 9th grade with the exact same nickname (and the exact same spelling). Her real name was Amelia, though.

Based on my lame-o instincts...

Natsu's outclassed by bishounens (Loke, left; Gray, middle; Jellal, right), and so he imagines himself as a bishounen. But Gray catches him smiling goofily and so he whacks Natsu for it because something's up. Or whatever.

/but he's already a bishie to me; just not a super-sparkly one like Ruby
