I have my permit. Never got my license though for various reasons. The test costs money, no reliable vehicle to take it in, no one to teach me... blah. However, with my sister moving to Japan in August, mi madre is trying to buy her car from her so I can have one, which means I just gotta have someone in it teaching me. Then I just need the crapton of money :D

My brother was a worse driver when he got his license than I was because he doesn't pay attention as much as he should AND because I also took up all the errand-running experience for myself since my parents were too lazy/tired to ever actually go out and take him practice driving when they could just have me do it on my own. He actually got his permit AFTER I got my license. /was kinda annoyed after a while of them not taking his brother out to practice as much as they did with him

46. I'll certainly pay for gas, though. And everything not related to insurance or auto-repair - I pay enough for those two things on my own vehicle here. I definitely couldn't afford to pay for that stuff on two vehicles. :B
