I said "US," if we want to talk about my childhood in the Philippines then yes Pokemon was one of the first ones...but then again we also had TONS OF OTHER AWESOME SUBBED/DUBBED ANIME back in 1998-2001 before the US even got around to doing that. :D

First anime I cried on was this one where a Kid gets sucked into a book, goes on a journey with a traveling entertainment group on a bus and has a blue pony/horse. Turns out that he was inside his father's book and that his father was the villain.

I looked hard for the title, but I can't seem to find it.

I want to say this now: Personally, I have no problems with people who stream anime. It's their choice. Now, when people start complaining about buffering and crap, that's just silly. If you're going to choose the donkey instead of the horse, why complain about its speed and cooperation when you could've chosen the horse?
