I need to find time to read the manga. It's been a while. :U

Madoka herself seems easier to color compared to Sayaka, but Idk. Now, Kyubey would be easy because there's not much to color other than the ears, eyes, and rings.

Also loving how the Madoka manga makes Kyubey even more innocent-looking/demonic-looking.

As Tara said, you don't need to know how to draw to color. Just get out your Quick Selection/Magic Wand tools (not to mention the Rectangular Marquee Tool for hard-to-get places), select, select, select, set the layer to Multiply, make a new layer below, fill with the color you want, and poof! You have a simple colored part. To make it more complex, you could follow tuts. for shading, but I just Gaussian Blur once and it comes out all right most the time.

Everyone has their own style, which helps divvy us up even more so.

Needless to say, I mostly color using tutorials XD; There's one on shading on Gimp on LJ (but PS can be used too o3o), and while I'm not big on the hair shading part, the blush shading actually helped me with the blushing in the icon.

^Same as above, I've tried countless of coloring tuts, and needless to say I failed at all of them x.x haha
