I hope that Irene won't turn out to be as destructive as Katrina was.

I'm glad I live in the Netherlands, though it can rain a lot here, we almost never have extreme wheater. This year has had one of the wettest summers ever though. -.-
There was an awful lot of thunder this morning though.

I don't think she will be, unless there is a Dam to break where she is going to be landing. :x Course, she might be destructive in some other way; we'll just have to find out. She's going to be a Category 2 Hurricane when she lands though, so she's not going to be Category 3 like they thought she would be unless she gets a small boost.

/watching the weather channel as she types this, hurrhurr.

Are you still in Florida at the moment? If so, I wish you well! /I'm hoping the power doesn't go out here, though it sounds like it might...

In other news, now completely satisfied with my school schedule. My parents aren't exactly happy that they have to buy me a new textbook and sell the other one three days before school, but the person who had me self-advocate and ask for the class swap told me not to tell them until I knew for certain. Which was today, since I got my updated schedule at orientation :X

Irene didn't touch Florida. o__o; If it did, then it definitely didn't get to Central Florida; we didn't get a drop of rain today, and the chance of us getting rain was only 20%. Good luck yourself; you're more likely to be hit than Florida was.

I haven't bought my textbooks yet. I think after I go and try for my permit I'll ask my mom to drop me off at the college for a bit so I can do so.

That's good to hear! It also sounds similar to when I was in Washington. Apparently they get earthquakes from time to time (damn California) but of course when we're there there was an earthquake in Virginia o3o But yeah, I'm hoping it won't be too bad. Last bad hurricane we had was Isabel a loooooong time ago. ...Of course, I would like it if we got off school due to the hurricane |D

My mom ordered all my textbooks, like, the day she got my schedule. And, thankfully, she took my changing classes and having to get a new textbook better than my stepdad did ._.;

Last "Hurricane" (it was a Tropical Storm here in Ocala) we had was back in 2008. It caused us to have two first days of school. xD;

That's why I generally don't get my textbooks until after I go to my class for the first time, just in case of things like that. It's also why in my High School they didn't issue Textbooks until after everyone had change their schedules and everything.

Breakfast: An Equate Weight Loss Shake!

Snack: Baked Lays, three chocolate chip cookies, and watermelon (they didn't have anything decent for me to eat for lunch at my senior orientation OK).

Lunch: Another Equate Weight Loss Shake!

Snack: A Capri Sun and Fruit Snack pack in the car trip to dad's, and honey roasted peanuts at home (b' ')b

Dinner: Baby carrots, a turkey sub, and a Go-gurt, I think?

Dessert: Ice cream ftw.

---

Usual meal:

Breakfast: Weight Loss Shake

Lunch: Weight Loss Shake unless we eat out then that's for dinner

Dinner: Some healthy meal here unless I ate out for lunch then Weight Loss Shake

Moral: Don't take the nice things in life for granted! /sob I hope I can eat a lot again

Then take one of Wal Mart's chocolate Equate Weight Loss Shakes! Despite being in a can a tad bigger than your typical soda can, they're guaranteed to make you not hungry for quite a few hours! What's better is that they help you lose weight and supply you with the necessary vitamins for your body!

1.) The closest Wal-Mart is over ten miles away and I have no way of getting there, or any other store, without walking in 90 degree weather.
2.) I'm broke.
3.) Even if I wasn't broke I'm already super skinny, so I wouldn't go for that stuff anyway.
4.) I WANT PEPPERONI PIZZA!!!

Any questions?
