    Do you think that May should come back in the anime? Or at least show her journey through the Johto region? I do...so how about you? I mean she was so cool and her laugh was funny too! LOL.

    i thnk thats a good chronicles idea

    if they did another pokemon chronicles that would be a good idea. but really they changed it to may just for eye candy and to make ash seem more experienced so id ont know how well it would wrk for her to return. besides it would break that status quo because wen she makes an appearence in DP she has big powerful evolved pokemon unlike ash who always has to have pathetic puny pokemon
     
    If anyone is going to come back, it'll be Misty, due to the immense demand for her. I don't think we'll ever see May again.

    That sounded a lot more pessimistic than I anticipated.
     
    Many people want to see this and I agree. Haruka's rivals were interesting, the interaction between them and all. I'd also like to more interaction between her and Soledad. Add some Kasumi episodes and it would be nice.
     
    It'll be nice. Of course, the creators would not want to interfere with Dawn's spotlight, so it's unlikely she'll actually return to the cast. But special episodes focussing around her are woefully overdue.

    Nah, they're simply the loudest. And the "immense demand" is really only on this forum. The others have already recognized how ridiculous the Misty cult is.

    EDIT: Oh yes, the best reason for May to return: To show off her horrible influence on girls with her being a "female anime stereotype" and all.

    She's a terrible "female anime stereotype" that encourages girls to be whiny, obnoxious, spoiled, and prone to throwing temper tantrums. She also causes body image issues in girls, and, I can't keep going on like this. (by the way, I am not making this up. Someone actually does think this way, however absurd)

    I'd like her to come back too in some way, because she was a great character that really broke the mold for active female main characters on this show. It'd be a shame to see such great character development and potential go to waste.

    Nothing. She had great character development, a great team (Barring Squirtle), and I'm glad she left. How much more development coule she have gotten? Not much. That's why I believe that Marina should've been in Johto.
     
    Well I still think May should come back...but everyone has opinions...she was not spoiled or nothing and she made GREAT appeals! She always made it past the 1st round!
     
    Personally, I would like to find out how May's Bulbasaur became a Venusaur all of a sudden. Would have been nice if she did run into Brendan and had a battle. An anime remix of the R/S/E rival theme would be awesome with Blaziken and Swampert battling.
     
    May does show up in the later episodes for D/P. She enters a contest and faces Dawn. It was a preview episode way b4 in japanese already, but I don't know when that episode comes into the U.S. I shall check it out again on serebii.net. ;]
     
    May should definitely come back...maybe she should come to the sinnoh and enter contests their after the SInnoh league, while Dawn goes off to the Hoenn region...I miss may so much...
     
    I'd rather have Misty back. :| May always annoyed me.

    But I also don't expect either to come back. I must admit I dislike this trend of replacing main characters they've had in the last few generations. <_< So next region, Dawn will be kicked to the curb? :[ Lame.
