DotA Mafia [GAME OVER]

I'm rubick guy. I used telekinesis on Merlin at N1.

same at gp at N0.

I want omni guy to protect me so I can use spell copy and then protect other but that's all I think.

Rubick? More like Rubrick.

It didn't take much longer after the break of dawn for two players to swipe down and kill Desinishon to claim gold for their teams. It was with a heavy hand that gimmepie took Rubick's life with. It was a shame, really, with all the wasted potential other heroes saw within him.

Desinishon is dead. He was Rubick, The Grand Magus.


Anyone who attacked after GP, you have your day actions back. Please do not forget to submit new ones before the day's end! All players getting gold for the kill will be notified shortly via PM with what they received. :)

Let's analyze what this means.

Until Desi's claim, and shortly after untimely death, he was thought to be a Dire that was my bad for not checking the Radiants' abilities, but noone else noticed either, so oh well.

Zeus hit Desi with Arc Lightning, which means everyone who attacked him got a -2, but you only got a -3 since you were also one of Zeus' targets.

Now, who wouldn't attack a Dire? That would be his teammates. Unless Arc Lightning's targets can't be hit by Static Field also, I think you're a Dire too. The fact that you instantly jumped in to defend Desi yesterday kinda reinforces that thought of mine, too.


On another note, I didn't get gold off of Desi's death, so Gp successfully denied him, which means Gp is a Radiant and lost 50 gold.

I am one of the -2. :( I leave for work in 6 minutes for 12 hours. I hate 3 day shifts where i have to work. unfortunately i have nothing concrete to share yet But Alexkaz61 I tend to agree with you.

Immedaitely following the fall of Rubick, a large POP sound could be heard as a burst of mist exploded outwards...

What do I have to explain? It's all in the OP xD

When you assist in killing a member of either Radiant or Dire you get 100 gold, with the killing blow being 500. However, if the killing blow is done by a teammate, noone gets gold for the kill, and the killer loses 50 gold.
That's called denying in dota. (In the game it can only be done to minions. You can deny heroes only under certain circumstances).

I didn't receive a PM getting gold from this kill, so you denied him.


There's also another thought that's been crossing my mind, which is much less likely, and I think we're gonna find out about it soon.
Op says that you get gold if you assist in killing a member of the opposing faction. So, I'm thinking of a scenario where neutrals don't get gold off kills, cuz the actual opposing factions are Radiant and Dire. If this stands true, then you're not a confirmed Radiant, but as I said that not a really likely scenario. I mean, the neutrals' aim is to gather 15000 gold. They'd have to farm for a millennium to reach that gold.
 
You know, Doom gets 150 gold for every neutral he kills and Razor has been sapping attack, increasing his.

We should prioritize killing the Dire. I mean, Radiant could work towards killing neutrals, but you'd have a Razor with a huge attack stat and a fed Doombringer to deal with. In an all-out war the Radiants wouldn't stand a chance.

Interesting detective work, but I'm afraid you're absolutely wrong. I didn't really want to out early in the game thanks to its nature (giving me at least eight immediate enemies no matter which faction I'm in), but I don't feel like ignoring this entirely would do me very well. So yeah, I can assure you I'm neutral. Honestly, I didn't mean to actually defend Desi. Indeed I thought he was Abaddon and therefore it would be a waste of time to attack him. He wouldn't die anyway, and the day phase would be better to farm. I'm not sure how it's compared to the average, but my attack stat is only 2. With that we're not getting far anyway.

Now as for the night, I never said I have a night attack, but yes I do. And as a matter of fact I did attack Desi last night and believe I was hit by chain lightning as well, but thanks to some passive damage resistance I have the -5 in total only dealt 3 damage.
