Yeah. :D I got Budokai 1 at, like, 8 at night and had the story done by 1 in the morning. I had a heck of a time beating Cell, though. He alone took 40 minutes of my sister and I taking turns, until I finally got him down.
Budokai 1 wasn't much different than #3, if you don't count the new characters, graphics, capsules, and story. I have never played Budokai 2. People say it sucks. Or Sagas. Sucky, too.
Sagas is like the second best DBZ game (second to Tenkaichi, of course). Only thing bad about it is that it's really short. Budokai 2 was pretty good. But the story mode was sooooo stupid. it's all likea board game. And in the beginning of the story mode, Adult Gohan is one of the characters you play as. Dude, that's just wrong. Playing as Adult Gohan in the saiyan saga ><. That story mode f*cking sucked @ss.
Can you obtain Purple Potaras other than Dragonballs?
I hear that you can make your own custom character! Is that true???
Si si. During story mode, you obtain Purple Portaras and other Potaras (Blues and Yellow). The Purple Potaras, you can fuse together to create unlockable characters. Once you've created a character with the purple potaras, that character is unlocked. Such as fusing a Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks potara with an Absorbtion potara to unlock Super Buu w/ Gotenks absobed. And Frieza Final Form "Full Power" with Reconstruction Surgery to unlock Metal Frieza.
The blue potaras are to attach to characters make their stats higher. Such has having more health, stronger attacks, better defence, or even faster speed. There are 8 different kinds of plue potaras; Health, Ki, Attack, Defence, Speed, Favorite Technique, Finishing Move, and Super Finishing Move. But there are also different kinds of each. Such as Health +2 or Health +5. The higher the number, the better that section will be. So if you add Health +6 (+6 is the highest for each section), the character will have much more health, meaning the aoponent will have a little more trouble taking you down. Also, keep in mind that you can only attach a max of 7 potaras to each character. However, for some characters, you are only able to attach a max of 4 or even 3 potaras. For characters like this, there is another very special potara that allows you to have some/all of the extra attachment slots so you can make your character strong, no matter what. I almost forgot, when you got to Evolution Z, on the Main Menu, you are able to fuse Bule Potaras to make them better. Such as fusing 2 Health +3's to get a Health +6.
Now on to the yellow potaras. These are kind of like the green Support Capsules from the other Budokai games. Some allow you to have an even greater length of Lock On-able area. So it lets you lock on to opponets from much farther than usual. Some might even allow you to shoot even more ki blasts (I dunno about that, though. I dont really check up on the yellow potaras.)
Hope you like my little tutorial.
