Should the pokemon in the Dragon egg group be given more Dragon-like traits in the future generations of pokemon?

Pretty good topic, Stoney Kong. I'd say they should be, which I'm guessing is going to be unanimous, or close to it.

& to think I came up with that after a VERY few seconds of deep thought...
Anyways, I feel that if they are in the egg group, they should DEFINITLY have more Dragon-traits... Maybe Arbok or/& Seviper should have a Dragon/Poison evolution... Who like this idea?

Yes. I mean, Sceptile is a gecko. But it is in the dragon egg group.

Does this mean that "Pokemon of the Dragon egg group should be considered dragons" is what you want the topic to be? I'm somewhat confused.

I do belive this is a regular topic in the Dragon's den, & the Egg group "dragons" usually gets the boot & are not considered ACTUAL Dragons...
However, when (or if) this topic starts, things may change...

Nope. They may have the traits of a dragon-type, but they're not fully fledged true dragons. They may be considered "failed dragons", much like planet Jupiter as a failed star.

But yeah, I don't think so. If you think logically (which you should seldom use with Pokemon), I don't see a snake ever being anything like a dragon.

This is one thing I like about pokemon... It's not restricted to what's "Real"... It'd be pretty boring if it was...
There'd be no monkeys with their butts on fire (Chimchar), there'd be no turtles with cannons built INTO thier shells (Blastoise) & most improtant of all, no Dragons.
So why not have Dragon snakes?

That is true. I have changed my opinion of dragons in Pokemon now.

But still, in answer to my topic,

No. They shouldn't because they are not real dragons, just those that share some traits of dragons.
 
I really don't believe they should....i mean Arbok...really...Snake<Dragon
