^ That would be the most horrible thing I've ever heard. Seriously, a failed "dragon" becoming a dragon.
How is this any worst than the world's most worthless fish turning into a most feared sea serpent?

Gawain is right, that shouldn't happen, although, it might be cool to get a dragon with that typing.

As quoted from Bulbapedia:

Origin

Magikarp is based on a legend about how carp that leapt over the Dragon Gate would become dragons. Several waterfalls and cataracts in China are believed to be the location of the Dragon Gate. This legend is an allegory of the drive and efforts needed to overcome obstacles.

Magikarp may also be based on Asian carps, which are easily frightened by disturbances in water and can jump 8-10 feet in the air.

I guess it was a Chinese proverb, not a japanese.

Ok, fine, I'll say this instead:
How is it any worse than a Bird being a "Dragon"?

Im going to assume that I just stepped in in the middle of a " Why are Gyarados or Altaria considered dragons" argument?

Whoo hoo! I love these arguements *Gets box of popcorn*

Just sit back and enjoy the show! :cer_boogie: :cer_laugh:

Altaria shouldn't be a dragon, I think... Exactly what about it (other than its moveset) is the least dragonish?

I actually think Altaria is supposed to be based on like a wyvern or w/e...

Hmm... I think I know who to ask on this...
Anyways, I would like to hear about the Regice arguement if it's ok...

The Regice what now?

When the heck did we have an argument over that thing?
