    Hi, everyone
    I first picked up Pokémon when Diamond rolled around. Somehow I completely skipped over FR and LG and RSE, but later got round to playing them. To date my favourite has to be Crystal,I have not been able to play anything after Black and White 2 due to the fact that I do not have a Nintendo 3DS.

    I also follow the Pokémon anime closely having watched all of DP,B&W and XY up to now. I try to watch as many of them subbed as possible, still can't find anything up to DP subbed :(.

    I will enjoy that being part of the huge community that surrounds Pokémon.

    So, you're into the Johto region I see? I do wonder if you've ever played HeartGold and SoulSilver, since they are great remakes of what was a true classic in Pokemon, capturing the nostalgia but also bringing something fresh to the table. I do feel bad for you missing out on all the cool stuff that we have been getting on the 3DS, but I hope you can consider getting one and catching up soon.

    That said, since you watch the anime maybe you might want to check out the Pokemon Anime section and discuss both XY episodes and previous sagas as a whole. Have fun enjoying PC and we hope you have a happy and safe New Year!
     
    Yes, someone else who likes the Johto games the best! My favorite Pokemon game is Pokemon Gold but I really like Crystal too. Nice to meet you driftyloon, I haven't watched as much of the anime lately but I'm thinking of watching Pokemon X/Y/Z, it should be pretty good. I used to watch the anime though, I've seen all of the Johto and Kanto regions, and some of Hoenn but I stopped watching regularly after that.

    Will have to admit, Gen II was also my fav. I got to play Crystal a bit because my cousin's BF had bought it for himself, as I had Gold and he thought the game was cool. As for the anime, I think I watched up to... whatever season involved Sinnoh... and I kiiiiinda wanna start watching it again now XD.

    sorry, just like to clear some ambiguities up. What I meant was that I have played everything up to and including B&W 2.

    Hikamaru, I have played the gen 2 remakes. I am actually currently replaying soul silver. I think that they are really good especially with the addition of pokemon walking with you :)

    It's great to hear that you're so into Pokemon. Diamond is a great game, and I'm glad it hooked you into the series! *crosses fingers for Sinnoh remakes some time soon* I hope one day you'll be able to play the 3DS games as well, but there's still a ton of enjoyment to be gotten out of all the other Pokemon games out there in the mean time n_n

    I haven't watched a whole lot of the anime, sadly ~_~ but I enjoyed Best Wishes from what I've seen of it, and I've heard great things about X/Y.
