5th Gen English Release Date Discussion [EU - March 4, US - March 6, AUS - March 10]

I expected March so cool that my guess was right. Early March = yayness too, and hopefully australia (and europe) get it soon after ala HGSS.

Now people, I hope you have all learnt not to trust gamestop on release date predictions. =p As this comes from Nintendo, this actually holds worth! (But do note game dates have changed before - unlikely, but for instance you don't have to look any further than Brawl, one of the biggest titles).
 
Thank goodness, I was hoping it wouldn't be April 17th. I never believed it though since it was gamespot. They've always had a rep for being terrible guessers.

I hope the Europe release isn't too far behind, if HG/SS is any indication Europe may get the game before the end of the month too. Fingers crossed!

It's kinda expected it would be released it March, but it's a little bonus that they're releasing it at the beginning of the month compared to the other DS games. Woot!
 
So apparently lots of people think Europe will be March 4th. And, if so, that means Australia could possibly be March 3rd, since going by HGSS, we got it on a Thursday, so. :D;

(And if so, I don't wanna wait another week, so...hopefully).

I wonder how many threads we'll get on this. XD
 
That would be funny if Europe got it on the 4th of March before America on the 6th.

Yeah right, as if that would ever happen. :p

edit: Although.....the 4th of March is a Friday, which is the day new games come out here (at least in Ireland anyway...)
 
Yay! So happy for a release date. It's kind of like a late Christmas present, or something. :)
Oh, I was wondering, if it's released on the 6th in the US, when will it be released in Europe & UK?

Well the calender say's something interesting will happen on the 4th of March....but we don't know for sure what that is. It could be the europeon release date...although that would mean Europe get's the game before America. :o

We deserve to get the game early though since America is nearly always getting games before us. Although in recent years things have gotten much better.
 
I'm from the Europe and normally games are released on Fridays (D/P/PT) (HG/SS) so 4th March is a Friday so looks hopefull, also if this is correct, we're getting it before NA! :D, I'm so happy that it's the beginning of March because I thought April was quite abit away but beginning of March!

May 16th (mah birthday <3)~ I'll get Pokemon Black!
Sometime in between: 3DS.

Well that's nice :) And the price tag isn't bad! It'd be weird if Europe get it first since Unova is based on the US in NA.
 
According to the Google currency changing thingy, it'll cost £22.70
 
If March 4th is the European release date, I can drag someone into Newcastle the day after and get it.~ Kinda weird if we do get it before North America though. Especially considering the region is based there this time. o_o

I would not put much stock in the March 4th for Europe speculation - it is plausible but not terribly likely, seeing Europe is traditionally after the US with most games and including Pokemon, and have more to 'do' with Black/White as well (more languages to translate in, etc). The March 4th/6th dates mentioned by that calendar for instance might have been merely two possible dates for the US release instead of a Europe/US thing, and they just went with the 6th - no way we can tell until Nintendo reveal the date.
