The Purple Dow: The history doesn't seem complete. O_o If the next word is "abducted," then I'll be lenient and approve it anyway because that's really the only major problem I had. If you were going somewhere else with that, then I'll mark this one as pending.

King!: Something's bothering me with the personality. It just seems like there's a vital piece that would answer a question you're posing with the history. Namely, you touch on the fact that he's a liar and a thief, but how good is he working with people in general? Charismatic? Quiet? Does he trust easily? Is he constantly suspicious? I'll consider this pending for now. I'd like to see a bit more detail here.

sasuneuchiha (and, well, King): To be honest, while your apps work enough to be approved, the writing's just not what I'm looking for when it comes to captains. Likewise, the characters just don't seem to be the right fit. What I'm looking for are extremely detailed and well-written poses with characters who are charismatic or would otherwise be amusing to see in a leadership position (because of the way they might react to being handed such a job). Sorry.

sasuneuchiha (specifically): Good question. You're all in the same room for now and will be split up in a moment.

In fact, let me move a bit forward and have the Voice of God[/b] Benefactors explain why you're all there.

    ---

    IC:

The robots started to float around the group, grabbing wrists and clamping bracelets onto whoever still hadn't been tagged. There might've been a few trying to figure out where they were, and a few nameless souls might've tried to ask the robots. Either way, the robots themselves didn't really care either way. They had their orders, and anyway, they were robots. Why should they care about the well-being of the people around them when they haven't been told to care?

Or, at least, most of them didn't. The robot that had caught Zach purposefully hovered towards the door and dropped him, unceremoniously, by the wall. Another hovered towards Kate to watch her nurse her bruising wrist before beeping in disapproval. Other than that, the third merely hovered, waiting for instructions.

Luckily, instructions came shortly thereafter in the form of a booming voice floating from unseen intercoms above them.

"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the space station Eos," it said. "We are the Benefactors, your caretakers for this journey. We have chosen all of you because of your potential to serve as protectors for your planet. However, while all of you have potential, only a few of you will be selected. Hence, we introduce you to the games.

"Currently, you stand in a room called the Battlefield. Here, you will assemble with a group of your fellows to participate in games. Each game will test a different aspect of your mind and body. Lose these games, and you may be sent back to your home planet. Win, and you will move one step closer to the ultimate honor.

"Each of you is wearing a specially-designed bracelet. On the side, you will see a crystal. Press it once, and it will access the records we have of you to assign to you a team. Press it again to release a partner we have chosen for you. This partner will be your closest companion, and your team, your only allies. Get to know both here, and once you assemble with your teams, your escorts will guide you through the rest of the ship.

    "Good luck."

With that, the voice went silent, and the robots lined up in front of the door. Each one seemed to be watching the players intently.

Valentine, I might like to join, but don't have time to write up an SU tonight.

Can you keep a spot open for me? I'd prefer Pichu if possible...

Also, how picky are you on SU's? I can write decent one's, but I'm not spectacular...

No problem. You've got plenty of time.

Can you keep a spot open for me? I'd prefer Pichu if possible...

Sure, there's plenty of spots, so it won't be a problem. I don't really do reservations, though, but I'll keep it in mind that you want Pichu.

Also, how picky are you on SU's? I can write decent one's, but I'm not spectacular...

Not particularly. If the writing's readable, things make sense (i.e., you're not contradicting anything, and it doesn't seem like you're leaving anything out), and it doesn't scream Mary Sue to me, I usually accept it.

OOC:Could I be my team captain? I know my SU isn't horribly descriptive and my age is a major turn off, but I'll add to my SU much more if you need it, and I think his intelligence would make him an effective leader. It's your call, either way I'm gonna update my SU.

Zach regained conciousness when banged against the door.

    Ow!

    He held his head.

Well these "Benefactors" don't seem to care about us very much about our health.

Will processed what it had said. "Who the hell are you to kidnap us and tell us your gonna have us play games with each other," Will yelled in the face, well if robots have a "face", of the robots, "We have the 'potential to serve as protectors for your planet.'? that seems vague and unnecisary. What the hell do we need protection from other than ourselves. I want some better damn answers, and you better have 'em.". Will knew that questioning an advanced alien race was, well, not a good idea. But he figured if they were going to kill him, then he'd be dead by now.

I hope I didn't just open a can of worms on myself...

Marina blinked taking in the last seconds to adjust and then looked around at all the robots, the small hum of whatever made them tick was the only sound, everyone was silenced by the mysterious things that stood before them. A voice began to crackle, but she couldn't tell which one it was. Trying to follow the sound only led to a speaker in the wall. An intercom, why? Why use an intercom when the robots just entered. Well the voice welcomed the trainers to their ship, Eos and explained everything to them. They are the caretakers, and will handle all of our needs, yada yada. She just wanted to know why she was here. It went on to explain that they were the only ones capable of protecting their planet, Earth, but, it was followed with a but. The girl held her breath as she waited for the robot to continue. Like a hammer against glass the last few words caused panic. "Only a few will be selected" worry spread out across the people's faces as they wondered what happened to those who weren't selected..

Game. This was some kind of game to them? They friggin' kidnapped a bunch of people and now are playing a game with them?! She grew furious that they were only a game, but kept her temper at bay. Angering the robots could result in a casualties. They explained what the bracelets were. Curious she pressed the bracelet, and it spewed out a few basic facts about her: her name, age, a brief one-sentence synopsis of her history, and some other stuff she couldn't quite make sense of. The curiosity burned inside of her to see what her partner was, pressing the crystal again a fox-like pokemon appeared. She remembered it as Eevee. Walking up to it, she noticed there was a collar, on the collar a button. She pressed the button and a voice put out.

"Eevee, the evolution pokemon. An Eevee has an unstable genetic makeup that suddenly mutates due to its environment. Radiation from various stones causes this Pokémon to evolve. Due to this ships environment, this Eevee will be forced to evolve into an Umbreon," after a short pause it continued, "add data to records?

Marina was perplexed. How would she say yes or no, there was no button to choose. Taking a shot in the dark, she said yes. The mechanical voice rang out 'Syncing' after a few more seconds it said that it was transferring data. Pressing the crystal again recalled her creature. Looking around, she noticed that the majority of other people were doing the same, pressing the crystal like something magical would come out. Some were rather disappointed at the partner that popped out, but didn't complain due to the glare of the robots. They rambled amongst themselves and the few next to them, and then robots zoomed to the front of the room. Silence covered the room like a blanket, except for one idiot who dare blurt out questions. He had anger in his tone, like he wanted to die.

Jon Krahmer had walked his way over to Marina. "So, Marina, what team are you on? Me? Well, eh," he stalled. "I sort of, don't have a bracelet, I guess I didn't make the final cut." he said nervously.

"I am on the black team" she softly responded. This man made her feel safe unlike his other buddy who seemed dangerous and pervy. "Mine is an Eevee, one that can only evolve into an Umbreon due to some mumbo jumbo" she let out a sight. "I s'pose I should gather up people on my team, and well, yeah," She liked him, but he wasn't going on, she couldn't get too attached. Walking To the back of the room she swallowed and took in a deep breath. "Hey! Anyone on the black team gather over here" she hollered wanting to see her teammates. A few people got up, all but one sat down again.

Mid-way to Marina the man paused. "Hey! Your Marina! Can I get your autograph?" he asked.

"Gah" she grunted in dismay. "IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE BLACK TEAM SIT DOWN" she yelled in an aggravated voice. The man sat down. "Anyone, anyone at all?" she asked again, crossing her arms.

    Interesting.

Hey can I join? It's the first time I've been in roleplay and it looks interesting. A few years back I was a GM to a roleplay I made. Oh I'll post only after I'm accepted thanks.

Name: Raphael Hasendra Finitio (Nickname Phaiel)
    Age: 22 years old
    Gender: Male
Normal Appearance: Light colored skin, red and black hair which is slightly spiky but doesn't stand up like most spiky hair. His eyes are a dark emerald green color. His body is of normal healthy build not muscular but has an impressive stamina. He is moderately tall and usually wears black slacks with a black belt and silver buckle with a thin silver chain extending to his pocket from the belt. He wears a usually unbuttoned red overcoat not made for withstanding the cold but for appearances sake that slightly resembles a jacket of sorts with yellow trimming on the collar and sleeve collar. He wears a black long sleeved shirt on the inside of his overcoat/jacket. He also wears black boots with silver clasps on them. When casually strolling around he discards the overcoat and only wears the black long sleeved shirt. He is far sighted so he wears reading glasses sometimes.
Battle Appearance: He wears black no fingered gloves when transforming and his hair is now combed backwards but still spiky. He also attains a monocle for reading things on the battlefield.
Personality: Phaiel is calm and collected usually cool under pressure. He is actually very caring or the sakes of other people but doesn't show this side due to trauma from his past. He becomes extremely violent if his friends are in danger and becomes completely sadistic towards the enemy at the time. He is a strategist by nature compiling strategies as soon as he is exposed to a certain condition. He usually doesn't attack civilians or the injured and weak. He usually keeps to himself figuring out puzzles in his head if left alone for a long time. His personality gives out an air of indifference to the people around him and some people think he is arrogant at first glance.

History: Phaiel was a Pokémon researcher, the senior Aide to professor Rowan. Before this he was captured by the Infinity Conglomerate and subjected to a certain experiment but this matter has finally been resolved. He lost his sister, mother and father during this time. He was born in Saffron city before this and has lived in all four regions because of his father's occupation constantly moving house. His relation with his father before his untimely passing was at best rocky. He once won the national Hoenn chess championship when he was 14 years old. He also had a Houndour before being abducted.
Team: Black (can I be team captain?).

    Pokémon Partner:
    Spoiler:

Other Things To Know: Phaiel is good at chess a chess master and is Japanese with a French-Spanish heritage or ancestry. He is also a speed-reader.
Writing Sample: From my fanfic 'The Chronicles of Neo Groudon' with Phaiel as the main character.
    Spoiler:

The lights came on. Nicholas shielded his eyes as his pupils shrank to adapt to this sudden change in circumstances, and he spun round so as to look away from the window. Slowly he lowered his arm and saw a large group of metallic beings that were... floating?

"Robotar...?" he mumbled to himself, thoroughly confused. This situation was getting weirder and weirder by the minute, and Nicholas didn't like one bit of it. A few of the robots began to move amongst the huge crowd of people in the room, grabbing their arms and forcing some metal bracelets onto them. Nicholas was the last such person to be tagged, and he was thrown to the floor once the mechanoid was done with him. A booming voice came over a previously-unseen speaker system, using some words that he didn't quite understand. However, Nicholas had gotten the gist of the matter; he certainly wasn't in Kansas anymore.

He watched the people around him press something on their bracelets, and he looked at his own to see if there was a similar device. He only saw a crystal in the area that others were pressing, but nevertheless he pressed down on it with a sigh. A speaker on the armlet sparked into life:

    Name: Nigul Pärn
    Age: Nineteen
    Ethnicity: Estonian
    Assigned Team: Green

He shrugged as he heard the information, and pressed the crystal again. It now glowed with a green radiance, signifying his team colour, but the second time he pressed it he did not hear information about himself. Instead, a jagged beam of light shot out a yard in front of him and materialised into the shape of a Pokémon. It floated about four feet off the ground, and was around twenty inches high. A blue Bronzor hovered before him, the Steel-type just as confused to be in this room as Nicholas was. It looked at the trainer, however, and gave what Nicholas reckoned to be a smile, a Bronzor pretty much lacking anything that could be considered a mouth.

"Huh," Nicholas said. "Looks like I'm with you. Your name will be Pronks." The Bronzor gave a metallic cry that seemed to be cheerful, and Nicholas allowed his face to betray him with a small smile. He pressed the crystal a third time, and the Steel-type was recalled. Out of the many other people he saw a few others that had bracelets with a green glow, but he figured he would wait for them to come to him.

Shelby stayed silent and simply observed as the people around her groaned and rubbed their eyes. She noted that a robot had caught a falling guy, though she didn't know his name. There were a total of three in the room. She started to think about escaping, but that's when there was a noise and a voice said something. Shelby looked up, and found they were using intercoms to speak to the people in the room.

Shelby didn't move as the voice explained what was going on as well as where they were. Shelby glanced around, looking at the "Battlefield". What the hell? Who do these people think they are? She wondered, frowning silently to herself and glancing out the window. She now saw that it was indeed space out there, but she wasn't too sure whether or not that was a good or bad thing. She thought about the "teams" and hoped to god that she wasn't stuck in a dumb group.

Once the voice had mentioned the bracelet, Shelby looked down at her wrist and noticed that she was, in fact, wearing another one. It fit snugly on her wrist and was mostly black with bits of red along the edges. Now that, Shelby thought, looks cool. She took note of the crystal, and once the voice was done explaining the bracelet, Shelby debated on whether or not to go ahead and meet her "partner". Whatever that means, Shelby thought, fingering the crystal.

"Well, why not?" Shelby murmured to herself. She tapped the crystal, and suddenly there was a small flash of light. Shelby jumped slightly and scooted back. A small, black puppy was sitting in front of her. It looked up at her and cocked its head to the side curiously. Is that…a Poochyena? She thought, silently wondering in her mind.

The first thing Shelby noted about Poochyena was that he looked rather scruffy. Shelby grinned at this, but the grin disappeared off her face as she noticed something else. There was a dark red collar around his neck. She pressed the button on the color, and raised an eyebrow as a voice began to explain about Poochyena. I'd really rather not have a color on him, Shelby thought. She debated but then finally decided to leave the collar on for now. She didn't want to get in trouble on the very first…day.

"You got a braclet?" the guy next to her said, making it sound like more of a question than a statement.

"Yeah, I suppose I do," Shelby replied. She pressed the crystal again, returning her Pokémon just so it didn't seem like she was showing off or anything. "Did you?" she questioned, looking at the man and noticing that he had shaggy blonde hair. He shook his head, looking slightly worried. "Don't worry, I bet they'll probably just send you home or something," Shelby said. The man relaxed a bit more.

All of a sudden, there was a rather loud voice that shouted, "IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE BLACK TEAM SIT DOWN!" Shelby debated whether or not on actually getting up. Her nose wrinkled at the sight of the girl, but she stood up. Her arms automatically crossed when she did, and she basically put on an almost blank face. Oh boy, here we go with this, Shelby thought dismally. My whole team better not look like this, she thought, raising an eyebrow at the girl's choice of attire.

(OOC: If we need a leader for team Red, I'd be willing to do it :) If so, how are they dubbed "leader"? Does it say so on the bracelet or does the team choose one? And if not, can we just make up a random character? xD)

"Space station? Games? Protectors of our planet? What the heck is going to happen to our planet!?" Kate demanded, speaking more to herself than anyone else. None of it made sense to Kate. Weren't they still on Earth?

Kate pushed her way to the window and what she saw made her stomach lurch. They were, in fact, floating in space, but the planet below them wasn't even vaguely similar to green and blue planet Earth. It looked like some dull, cold dead rock without any sign of life on it. Kate had never left her home region, let alone the Earth, so the thought of being who knows how many millions of miles away from home was more than enough to make Kate's skin crawl.

"Get ahold of yourself Katherine," she muttered, biting her thumbnail as her brain still struggled to process all that was going on.

"You talk to yourself a lot," a nearby boy observed.

"Yeah, well..." Kate started, but when she couldn't think of anything to say, coupled with the realization that this was the kid she had shoved earlier, Kate blushed a bit and returned her attention to the metal bracelet clasped around her wrist.

She discovered that there was a small crystal set into it as the voice over the speaker had announced. Curious, she pressed it and watched as several lines stating her age, skills and brief summary of her life scrolled by. The words "evaluating data" flashed on the surface of the crystal.

"IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE BLACK TEAM SIT DOWN!" a somewhat shrill voice ordered.

Kate looked over and found that the voice belonged a girl who was obviously used to getting her way. Kate raised an eyebrow and looked down at her bracelet, finding that the gem had turned a deep shade of red. Though she knew that she wasn't a part of the Black team, Kate remained standing.

"Is anyone on team Red?" Kate shouted, waving her bracelet in the air for a moment to get some attention.

Kate lowered her arm and pressed the glowing gem again, watching as a form materialized in a red beam. Kate's partner turned out to be, much to her delight, a Ponyta.

"I guess this won't be so bad after all," Kate said with a slight smile, reaching out to stroke the soft muzzle of the Pokemon.

Zach got over the fact he didn't get any answers. He got up and decided he would have to live with it.

    Now lets see some facts.

Zach pressed the gem on his bracelet, " Zach Sydney. Age: 15. Occupation: Reasearch assitant. Endurance:average. Itelligence: Very High. Strength:-"

    Damnit!

    "Poor. Nationality: Johto. Team: Green"

Well up until the strength thing it was fairly flattering...

Zach Tapped the gem again, and a cute little treecko projected from the bracelet, " Blade!" Zach shouted after seeing the treecko. The pokemon's eyes lit up and it became ecstatic. It realy was Blade!

    Oh thank science he's alive!

Zach picked up Blade and placed him on his shoulders. He just barely heard another persons gem, "Ethnicity: Estonian, Assigned Team: Green". Zach spun around to see a large build man behind him.

I don't think we're going to get along.

Still, Zach held out a hand to the man. "Hello, I'm on the same team as you," Zach smiled a bit.

Sara watched with mild interest as the robots snatched wrists, clamping on clunky bracelets every which way. She held out her wrist expectantly for the robot to give her a bracelet of her own. She winced for an instant when the bracelet went on, but otherwise ignored it. But the robot wasn't done. One of the long arms snatched her other wrist, which had been hanging at her side. "Ow!" she exclaimed.

The robot clamped yet another bracelet onto her empty wrist. She frowned at it, and the display suddenly lit up. Congratulations, it read, you have been selected as the captain of your team. This bracelet holds any Fragments your team may win—this is one of your many responsibilities as captain.

Fragments? Sara scowled at the display, but then it changed again, giving her a readout of all of her team members. She scanned through it, trying to figure out if her teammates would be a valuable addition or totally screw her over.

But, again, the question surfaced. What would she and her teammates be doing? She waited, trying not to smirk when one boy started demanding answers. She rolled her eyes when the boy was dropped by the wall by one of the robots, but then came the voice.

"…to the space station, Eos," oh, fantastic. So they were in space. This was going to get real interesting, real fast, then. And these Benefactors… she wondered if they were even onboard the station; they could be safely on Earth, enjoying their little game. Sara scowled as she listened, but the bit about protecting the planet… that could prove to be of some worth, actually. The only question was which few… Sara scanned the room, trying to see who was a likely candidate.

But the voice went on. Something about the crystal on the bracelet. It suddenly glowed a bright yellow at her. She pressed it, and it suddenly spoke. The bracelet read out information on herself; her name, gender, age, ethnicity, family… she stopped listening after the family part. It ended with: "Assigned team: Yellow; team captain." She figured as much.

She pressed the crystal again, praying she wasn't stuck with a weaker Pokemon. To her pleasant surprise, it was a Dratini that materialized at her feet. Sara smiled at the creature, crouching down to get to its eye level. She gave it a long look, pondering on a name. "You're a female, right?" there was a hesitant nod. "How does Leira sound?" after a moment, the Dratini chirped happily. Sara smiled and extended her arm. "Hop on."

The Dratini eventually made it to her shoulder, and wound herself around her neck. Sara stood and looked around, checking bracelets for a yellow glow. She heard a shrill voice exclaim something about sitting down if you weren't on the black team. Leira flinched at the voice, and Sara was inclined to agree. She turned to find the source of the voice, and was surprised to see a familiar face. Tim had positively adored Marina, from what she could remember. Sara rolled her eyes and continued her search for teammates. "As long as she isn't on my team," she muttered.

She finally pulled up two of her fingers to her lips and gave a whistle. "Anyone in the yellow team?" she called. A few stood and made their way over to her, but most everyone else remained sitting. She wondered quietly how big her team was supposed to be. She checked her captain's bracelet, and started a head count; names could come later.

(OOC: Down with the darkness, you might just want to fix the names in your last post. You've called your character Will at one point. xD)

As it turned out, one of Nicholas's fellow team members was actually right in front of him. A small, sickly-looking child slowly turned to look at him, the gem on his bracelet glowing with the same shade of green his own was. The child extended his hand and said a few words, but Nicholas first studied the youngster. They couldn't be more than twelve years old, he thought, and looked nearly androgynous. On the child's shoulder was a small green Pokémon, a Treecko.

"Hello, little…" Nicholas hesitated for a moment. "Boy? Girl?" he asked tentatively, not knowing what to say. He grabbed the child's hand with a firm grip, but the preteen yelped in pain as the large man crushed his hand.

"Stop that!" the child yelled, flailing his other arm wildly, and throwing the Treecko that had been perched upon it to the ground. "And for science's sake, I'm a man, not a girl!" Nicholas let go with a jolt and harrumphed.

'A man? Jaså…' he thought, thoroughly unconvinced that the person before him was even into his teens.

    "Nigul Pärn. Call me Nicholas."

"Zach Syndey," the boy replied as his Treecko ran up the length of his body and regained the seat it had held upon the boy's shoulder. "Do you know of anyone else on our team?"

"No," Nicholas replied matter-of-factly. The boy was obviously becoming irritated with his apathetic attitude.

'It's better if I don't make too many alliances,' Nicholas thought. 'They'll only result in people getting hurt.'

(OOC: I have always wanted to use the word 'harrumph'. xD; Also, I take it I'm not being too controlling by having Zach speak a few words? :<)

OOC: Lol I'm mixing up my two characters, names. Oh and it's ok, but Will isn't as frail as you potrayed him with the handshake thing, he's weak, not glass-boned.

IC: Zach grabbed his own hand.

Damn he has a firm handshake.

"Well it's nice to meet a teamate," Zach said as he walked to the door.

"When the hell do we get out of this cramped room!" Will started yelling at the robots once more.

    OOC:

The Purple Dow: Verifying approval. Welcome to the game.

Neo Groudon: The sign-up looks good except for one thing: the history. It lacks any details about his life before the experiment (aside from his achievements), and it doesn't go into what the experiment was. The former might help build your character, and depending on what exactly the latter was, we might be seeing effects that would either benefit or be a detriment to the rest of your team. As a reminder, all of the characters are completely human, so if this is the same experiment as the one in your fanfic, I'll have to decline because that kind of thing just won't fit with the rest of the cast. Sorry.

    King!: That'll work. Approved.

Mira: Sure, you can be a leader. Yeah, the bracelet will mention it, so feel free to add that whenever you'd like.

As a side note, for the teams that have players but no team leader, if you want to just randomly have an NPC appear to serve as your leader, feel free. Just, uh, be consistent.

Tribulations: For future reference, don't control other PCs unless you've got permission to do so. Some players really aren't cool with that.

Scarecrow1113: No team leader yet, but your RPing looks up to par with what I'm looking for in one. Sure, go ahead and take captainship.

    IC:

Several people demanded answers from the Benefactors, but other than the explanation the voice offered earlier, they didn't respond. Oh yeah. They were twisted, all right.

In the meantime, the robots watched stoically as the players muddled about in confusion, got into groups, and generally tried to figure things out. Behind them, the door slid open for a second time, and seven more robots entered, one for each group. This time, the door remained open, and the entering bots simply lined up beside the others. Minutes passed with all of them waiting silently until finally, the first robot beeped and moved forward.

"White Team," it announced in a buzzing voice. "Follow me."

It took a moment for the first group to stumble forward. Some were followed by Normal-type Pokémon. Some tripped over theirs and several feet of other groups before making their way to the front. When they all seemed gathered, the robot turned and moved forward, into the hallway. One by one, robots claimed teams, leading each one through the door at minute intervals, just enough to make small tour groups.

Outside, the halls seemed clean and spotless, with hard, linoleum floors underfoot, barren walls, and ceilings with lights embedded in them. This particular floor, marked on the maps with a 2, had only three doors on the right side, spaced enough distance apart that an entire cluster of a team could fit in the space between one and another. These doors had strange symbols printed on them, but luckily, the robots flailed an arm towards them to name them.

"Infirmary. Common room. Mess hall," they announced as they passed.

Then, they approached the stairs. With one arm, they pointed down.

"First floor," they said. "Training rooms. Second floor." The arms pointed up. "Barracks and bathrooms. Each barrack has the door painted in their own team color. Bathrooms between each are only for the teams next door to them. Below, training rooms. Scan your bracelet at the door for an explanation."

Then, the robots would drift, forming a U-turn that would lead one group past the others and towards the mess hall. However, it was evident at that point that they weren't paying attention to their flocks.

Sam fiddled around with his bracelet. The buttons looked like fun, so he pressed the one shaped like a crystal. A deep red color filled it. "Huh. Guess I'm on red," Sam said, looking around.

Everyone else seemed to be finding. He pressed the crystal again. It came up with some information. It said, "Name: Samuel Hakini."

"My name is Sam you stupid bracelet," Sam whispered under his breath.

"Age: 15. Occupation: Writer. Endurence: Above Average," it continued

"Hm. Starting to like this thing," Sam said, waiting for it to say more.

The bracelt delivered. "Intelligence: Very High. Strength: Above Average. Nationality: Hoenn. Team: Red," it finished. Sam wondered if it would repeat it if he pressed it again. It was kinda boring, but might be worth it. He realized he didn't have Riolu with him. Still, maybe a new pokemon could help him find it. Pressing the button again, Sam pointed it forward. A beam of light went that way, then a shape formed. A small, blue pokemon came out.

"Rio...lu?" the pokemon said, looking around. Sam was shocked. It couldn't be anything but.

"Riolu!" Sam cried, hugging the pokemon. It took Riolu a second, but it suddenly realized it was Sam. Sam could feel how happy it was. The two stayed hugging for a couple of minutes, when a voice sounded from behind him. Sam quickly analyzed it as male.

(OOC: Oh my gosh, those robots are AWESOME! I want one ^.^)

Kate stood against the wall, gently stroking her Ponyta's flank as she watched the different teams cluster up into groups. It seemed like all of them were getting together except for the Red team.

"Ah well, I suppose we'll meet up soon anyway..." Kate sighed.

"Red Team," a robot buzzed from the front of the room. "Follow me."

Kate looked up and realized that the teams were now being taken away by the robots and several people with red bracelets were now lining up in front of one of them. Kate picked her way forward, her Ponyta staying close beside her. Kate reached the group, which was about to move forward, when she was suddenly yanked aside harshly by her wrist. She pulled back hard but found that she was held firmly in the grasp of a robot. Before she could react, the robot clasped a metal circlet around her bare arm before releasing her and floating away without an explanation.

"Hey!" Kate shouted after the robot. "I already have one!"

But the robot just continued on, leaving Kate simmering.

"Stupid robots," Kate muttered, looking down at her bracelets. Much to Kate's surprise, however, the words "synching data" were now scrolling across the surface of the crystal, quickly replaced by: "Katharine Elizabeth Anderson: Team Red - Leader."

"Leader?" Kate frowned, looking at her new bracelet and then back at the Red Team members. "No pressure or anything."

Zach wasn't hungry, and figured he'd take advantage if the innatentivness of their guides, to find out what was behind the unmarked door on floor 3. He looked near the door and found a presspad like the ones you touch your bracelet to.

Must be locked. It'd be stupid to try and test if my bracelet will open it. f I did that they'd be able to tell it was me trying to open it. I'll have to find out how to hack these pads.

Zach walked over to the stairs to go to the mess hall. He might as well get a bite to eat.

Zach walked up to the robots at the service door. "Display bracelet identification."

Zach stared at it, "Why do you need it?"

The robot seemed not to notice, "Display bracelet identification."

Zach sighed and showed him his wrist. Arguing wouldn't get him anywhere. The robot dispenced a sealed bag labeled something in some alien (alien as in not understoon, not necisarily space language) symbols and text. He walked back and found the green team table, sitting as far away from everyone else as possible and opened the bag to what looked like gray geletin.

It tasted bland, and wasn't as enjoyable going down as geletin.

What the hell is this stuff? Budget alien food?

Zach chomped it down. He liked the sensation of fullness, it made him feel better about himself. Despite that, the food didn't fill him up very much. He walked back up to the robots.

The robot looked at Zach, "Display bracelet identification."

Zach raised up his bracelet to the robot, "Idividual has already recieved food, no secondary servings authorized," the robot said to him.

Zach still had a trick up his sleeve, "Sir, I suffer from a internal parasite, causing me to loose weight if I don't eat enough. See how thin I am?"

The robot examined Zach, "All subjects were scanned after retrieval. No such parasite was in your scan."

Damnit these "benefactors" are thorough. What about me don't they know?

He walked back to the green table slightly disappointed.
