The Purple Dow: The history doesn't seem complete. O_o If the next word is "abducted," then I'll be lenient and approve it anyway because that's really the only major problem I had. If you were going somewhere else with that, then I'll mark this one as pending.
King!: Something's bothering me with the personality. It just seems like there's a vital piece that would answer a question you're posing with the history. Namely, you touch on the fact that he's a liar and a thief, but how good is he working with people in general? Charismatic? Quiet? Does he trust easily? Is he constantly suspicious? I'll consider this pending for now. I'd like to see a bit more detail here.
sasuneuchiha (and, well, King): To be honest, while your apps work enough to be approved, the writing's just not what I'm looking for when it comes to captains. Likewise, the characters just don't seem to be the right fit. What I'm looking for are extremely detailed and well-written poses with characters who are charismatic or would otherwise be amusing to see in a leadership position (because of the way they might react to being handed such a job). Sorry.
sasuneuchiha (specifically): Good question. You're all in the same room for now and will be split up in a moment.
In fact, let me move a bit forward and have theVoice of God[/b] Benefactors explain why you're all there.

The robots started to float around the group, grabbing wrists and clamping bracelets onto whoever still hadn't been tagged. There might've been a few trying to figure out where they were, and a few nameless souls might've tried to ask the robots. Either way, the robots themselves didn't really care either way. They had their orders, and anyway, they were robots. Why should they care about the well-being of the people around them when they haven't been told to care?
Or, at least, most of them didn't. The robot that had caught Zach purposefully hovered towards the door and dropped him, unceremoniously, by the wall. Another hovered towards Kate to watch her nurse her bruising wrist before beeping in disapproval. Other than that, the third merely hovered, waiting for instructions.
Luckily, instructions came shortly thereafter in the form of a booming voice floating from unseen intercoms above them.
"Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the space station Eos," it said. "We are the Benefactors, your caretakers for this journey. We have chosen all of you because of your potential to serve as protectors for your planet. However, while all of you have potential, only a few of you will be selected. Hence, we introduce you to the games.
"Currently, you stand in a room called the Battlefield. Here, you will assemble with a group of your fellows to participate in games. Each game will test a different aspect of your mind and body. Lose these games, and you may be sent back to your home planet. Win, and you will move one step closer to the ultimate honor.
"Each of you is wearing a specially-designed bracelet. On the side, you will see a crystal. Press it once, and it will access the records we have of you to assign to you a team. Press it again to release a partner we have chosen for you. This partner will be your closest companion, and your team, your only allies. Get to know both here, and once you assemble with your teams, your escorts will guide you through the rest of the ship.
"Good luck."
With that, the voice went silent, and the robots lined up in front of the door. Each one seemed to be watching the players intently.
