EPL 2007-2008

You got me there Skii! George Best and Bobby Charlton also have scored loads but before the creation of the EPL.

That was my prediction before the game. In fact I went for 5-2, then thought it would be difficult for them to score 2 against us at home, so changed it.

Did you watch the Fulham game, Ronaldo should have had the penalty, he didn't dive.:(

On the other hand, Dempsey played well!

I cant watch the games other than FA and CL. :(

Even I don't get much of the games mate. Recently the local TV, has been broadcasting few EPL matches, my satellite TV package has only one sports dedicated channel which doesn't broadcast football on a regular basis.(My dad took it just for Zee TV...:P) So I watch as much football as I can whichever team is playing, as long as it's sexy football or some young talent are on the pitch.

My internet connection isn't fast enough to stream matches! :((Only 128kbps:()

I knew I should've found this thread sooner. ¬_¬

Anyway, anyone watched the Villa-Pompey match? Muntari's goals were absolute beauties. Impeccable skill and technique.

I support Arsenal by the way, and looks like they're languishing at the top. Boro shouldn't be a threat. They lack firepower and are occupying 17th or 18th. >_>

You would be surprised how Boro do against the top clubs.

That's what I've been telling others! Shame this year they haven't turned up against the big teams. I hope tomorrow is their start! w00t!

hard-luk to liveerpool i know its hard to read(ing) ,that torres chance must been a panelty but i guess the rif is blinde lool....

You would be surprised to know how Boro got thrashed by Manure, even after scoring an equaliser.

And yes, it's the Riverside. And really, the only reason why I'm sure of a win, is the fact that Arsenal have a great record against the Teesiders in the last 5 years. And guess what? Boro lack an orthodox striker at the moment. That means they are toothless in attack. Arsenal should have a presumably easy time at the back, but at the front, if Walcott plays off Adebayor, he's likely to destroy Boro. Why? Boro lack pace at the back. Any pacy player can cut right through them if the right ball is played.

Also, a shock result at the Madejski. 3-1 to Reading. =O

Who are Reading against?

Anyway, just dont be so surprised if they pull something. [They are known for it against
the "Big Four"].
I will be surprised if they even get a goal against Arsenal. Arsenal have lost only once, and that was to a class team in Sevilla (who haven't done well domestically).

Reading beat Liverpool. Liverpool were robbed of three penalties. >_> Refs are blind now.

Reading beat Liverpool? hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ROFL

i wonder how Chelsea got on with Sunderland? havent checked it yet.

EDIT: i checked and we are 2-0 winners. goals from Andriy Shevchenko and Frank Lampard. YES!!!

Ref robbed Liverpool of three penalties, and gave a non-existent penalty to Reading. Good going, ref. >_> Credit to Reading though. They were organized and well-disciplined. And there was one point where Reading had 88% possession and Liverpool had 12% during a five-minute period. o_O

And to those who think Boro have got a chance... you'll see.

They might play grabage or top class. Its freaky with Boro.

88%?

What is wrong with Liverpool?

Not even Derby would let a team have that much.

Aston Villa 1 - 3 Portsmouth
Chelsea 2 - 0 Sunderland
Everton 3 - 0 Fulham
Manchester United 4 - 1 Derby County
Newcastle United 2 - 1 Birmingham City
Reading 3 - 1 Liverpool

Reading brought Liverpool's resurgence to an abrupt halt, inflicting their first Premier League defeat of the season, 3-1 at the Madejski Stadium

no one is better than ARSENAL hahahahaha

will Liverpool are much better today in the past and in the future and Reading won with some help from the ref the 1st pen was a foul outside the box also if Man U can beat us then that means one thing they will win the league.

@ skii keep laughing it is good to laugh but we have something bigger to focus on right now
