Eternal Nightmare - [PG-16]

Cain check around the rest of the area before going towards the castle. He was in front, and was wondering if the others were there following as well. Cain scratched the bark of some tree, keeping a path back in case they were to get lost. He growled behind his teeth, looking at the castle ahead of them, wondering what to expect in there. It would be surreal, no doubt.

Cain was accounted for, and was waiting for the others to form in before they would head into the castle. He might have led part of the way, but he would be a fool to enter the castle in front all on his own, and Cain was no fool.

"Damn Pokemon taking forever..." He said, under his breath. His expression showed that of anger, when in fact he was more excited than angry.
 
(no fool. yeah right lol)

Silver jumped onto the tree, in his mew form, which Lucifer hated so much, and started to cry. All these years Lucifer thought he was a Lucario twin, you know, same blood from the family, same powers...same everything...

but now they looked so different...Lucifer's a Lucario....and Silver's a legendary pokemon...Lucifer just couldn't accept or understand it...why did he turn into a Lucario while he could just have fun with his Mew mother?

Lucifer saw Saphyre walking towards Silver, comforting him, but Lucifer looked away and continued walking until he was meters from the Castle moat. To his surprise, nobody was guarding the drawbridge. With one quick red aura sphere, he broke the ropes, and the bridge came falling down, nearly squashing Lucifer himself.

Lucifer looked into the castle's entrance...and he couldn't see anything. It was too dark to see the road, even. Careful, he started to walk towards the entrance, trying not to make a sound as he stepped on the wooden drawbridge.

"Lucifer I'm coming with you." a voice came from behind and Lucifer turned. It was Xandra. At least someone's here for me, Lucifer thought and nodded, as the walked together into the castle..


"The intruders have arrived, Master." General Gengar told his master with a solemn tone, "Should we stop them before they reach the third floor?"

"There are Haunter guards down there, General. Do not worry. Even though if they can break through the defenses...I will take care of them myself."
 
Silver wanted to die at this point. at least the pain would go away... He had loved Lucifer, but got the sense now that Lucifer hated him for being a Mew. Why? How can you hate someone simply because they are a certain species?? Had he known he could transform, he would've done it long ago.

"Leave me alone..."

He muttered to Sapphyre.

"I no longer have a brother... My only family left is mother but who knows where she is now... Luifer hates me for being this..."

His tear-filled eyes gazed down at his paws.

He was heartbroken, completely. Lucifer was his family, but now, he hated Silver, and denies that they are family. His crying was even worse
 
Volk was shaken awake by Lucifer, saved from a nightmare for once. Then the drawbridge slammed down and Lucifer and Xandra went ahead. Volk looked back at the Mew, who was once a shiny Lucario. No wonder Silver had a tensing phobia of Volk and other Bug-types, Psychic-types were scared and easily freaked out from Bugs. Sapphyre was trying to console the legendary but not working that much.

The Joltik hurried off after the black Lucario and the Kirlia. "I'm coming with you." He huffed, when he was behind the couple.

(OOC: Can someone bunny Volk from Tuesday onwards? It's a tight exam schedule for me so I won't be able to go online then. Please?)
 
Julie walked to the tree Silver was on.It killed her inside hearing him even say the word die.Her heart shattered at Silvers words.She opened her mouth to say something,but no sound came out.She didn't care WHAT Silver was,she loved him.She wanted to tell him that,but no matter what she did,she couldn't say anything.It was as if someone stole her voice.

"Silver I don't care what you are,I have and always will love you."Julie thought,hoping Silver would pick up on her thoughts.

Julie bent her head downwards as she started crying.Her heart was shattered.She turned and walked away.There was no use trying to talk,she was too sad to.She kept walking onnot being able to make the tears stop,

Silver caught her thought. She still loved him, even though he seemed to be something people hated. He sniffled, wanting to hold her for hours on end, but she walked awy, crying. This made Silver whimper and cry even more... He couldn't lose her! He's lost everything except her, and now she leaving. He cried more and more.
 
Kaira was grateful that the fight was over. Not that she had been of much assistance on any acord. When she noticed that the others were beginning to move, she turned in their direction, sprinting after them. She wasn't being left behind, not if she had anything to say about it. She ran up to Lucifer, nudging his leg with her nose.

"Wait for me why don't ya! My legs are a bit smaller than yours." she said, making sure to keep up with them.

She walked silently for a minute, but she truly was getting sick of the silence, so, she spoke.

"Are you okay, Lucifer?" she asked, stretching to walk on her two back legs. "I mean, you aren't hurt or anything?" she was trying her best at being nice, and so far, it seemed to be working. Not that she'd had much of a reason to make any sarcastic comments yet, but when they did come, she'd have to bite her tongue, quite literally.

(OOC: I apologize for it being so long since I posted. I've had a pretty hectic week, my dads been super sick after his surgery! and i know its not a very long post, again, I apologize!)

the little Cyndaquil Kaira caught up when Lucifer was crossing the drawbridge. She nudged Lucifer softly and she kinda cheered him up, after what had happened just now. Silver's a mew all this time...how could he?! Playing with my emotions all this time...

After Kaira told Lucifer to wait for her, the whole place was silent, so Lucifer was glad that she started talking again later.

"Are you okay, Lucifer?" she asked, and Lucifer was a little surprised. He thought she was all sarcastic and stuff, but apparently she was trying to control herself. Of course Lucifer was hurt, but he didn't want her to think or say anything about it so he shook his head.

They crossed the drawbridge without waiting for the others and walked into pitch darkness. Lucifer was afraid that Kaira'll get lost, so he scooped her up and placed her on his shoulder - something only Silver would do.

It was too dark, so Lucifer made a red glowing ball of energy with his right paw and lightened up the place a little. One the corridor was lightened up, Lucifer could see a Haunter with two shadow balls in his hands, then before Lucifer could warn anybody, the Haunter pushed the balls towards Cain and Xandra. Xandra didn't have to worry, she could see pretty well in the dark. She jumped aside and dodged the attack. Cain, however, wasn't ready.
 
Dusknoir walked with a sleeping Sparky in his arms through the castle. He finally was able to capture the black Shinx the boss always wanted. He'd be promoted, and become famous, and lots of other things. Suddenly, he heard a fight. It was close to the door. Intruders.

Dusknoir flew to the place where the fight was going on and he saw a Haunter using Shadow Balls. The Haunter would be able to take out one of them, but that'd be it. He dropped Sparky, who fell on the floor but still slept, and ran to the Haunter. He started using Shadow Balls too and one of them hit Lucifer.

Sparky was dreaming. But it wasn't a nightmare for some reason. It was a good dream. He wouldn't wake up and sleep for a while. It was a good feeling.
 
Silver, listen up. We aren't family. You're a mew. I'm a Lucario. We aren't family, and we have never been. From now on, I'm going without you, Silver the Mew. Lucifer thought and he knew that Silver was able to hear him.

Lucifer was about to help Cain by deflecting the Shadow Ball, but he had his own problems. A Dusknoir appeared and flung a Shadow Ball towards Lucifer. Eyes widened, Lucifer did a backflip and dodged the swift attack.

Lucifer stepped back and placed his hands together, leaving a little gap in the middle as a ball of aura appeared. But Xandra placed her hand on his shoulder and Lucifer stopped, tilting his head.

"Lucifer, he's immune to fighting types!" Xandra reminded, and Lucifer gave himself a facepalm. Of course. The Dusknoir was a ghost type, which was immune to any fighting. Lucifer raised his paw and pointed at the Dusknoir, then after a while, two blue rings surrounded Lucifer, then shards of pointy rock formed from the rings and flew towads the Dusknoir, piercing the Dusknoir with Stone Edge.
 
(Dang, you people are fast. Its not ok to take a day off....)

Sapphyre pursed her lips when Silver said he was never coming down. Both Lucifer and him were being complete morons. "You two are idiots!" Sapphyre spat. "So you are a Mew and he's a Lucario. This proves nothing!! You two are still the same Pokemon you thought you were all these years! Appearences don't change that fact. You don't have to be the same to be a family. Siblings are suppose to love their siblings, theirs flaws and differences too. If you guys let this small thing stop you two from loving each other then your whole brotherhood will be for nothing. Nothing can change feelings, not even appearences. Think about it! Did you love Lucifer because he was a Lucario like you thought you were? If you answer yes then you're lying and you need to dig deeper. This goes for you too Lucifer!" Sappyre said sending the thoughts to Lucifer.

She started walking away, going to find the group. Sapphyre stopped before she walked out of Silver's vision. A tear rolled down her cheek, and she glanced back at him for a quick second. "I hope I see you in the castle, Silver." Sapphyre said and then disappeared into the forest's trees.
 
Julie heard Silver crying more so she turned around.She got mad at herself for not being able to climb.She walked to the tree he was on and leaned against it.It was the best she could do.She didn't want to loose Silver.She loved Silver endlessly and she always would.She still couldn't find her voice,which made her more fureous at herself.She felt tears still falling from her face.She had to find a way to calm Silver down,but she couldn't do it from down there.A look of determination filled her face as she turned around and placed her paws on the tree.She pushed herself up.After some struggling she made it up.She carefully walked across the long branch Silver was on and sat down next to him.She started singing Mine (taylor swift) absentmindedly.She put her right arm around Silver then her right infront of him and hugged him tightly.

"I love you Silver."Julie said.

She watched Sapphyre walk away.She then noticed how hight up they were,which made her grip Silver tighter.
 
Silver heard Lucifer, and screamed loud enought that he could hear.

"If you hate me so much then shut up and stop talking to me!!!"

His crying worsened, and then Sapphyre gave him a speech.

"I did love him... But he doesn't feel the same, he doesn't want me for a brother, he hates me like everyone else!"

His ears flattened as he spat it at her. This was not a speech he needed. He still wished Lucifer was his brother. He noticed Julie climb up and hug him. He cried still, but hugged her back as she started singing. He stopped her with his own song. Boulevard of Broken Dreams, by Green Day.
 
They encountered a Dusknoir with 2 Haunter minions. Lucifer launched sharp jagged rocks at the Dusknoir while the two Haunters lobbed Shadow Balls at Cain and Xandra. The Kirlia gracefully dodged in time but Volk didn't see if Cain got hit. Well, there was no impact sound yet.

Volk's eyes started to spark off with a mean radiation as waves of insect soundwaves and ions charged into a focused beam. A radiant rainbow of blazing colours spiralled towards the Dusknoir, boxing it in the abdomen. It seemed to fade for a moment before materializing and looking much more ghostly. "Kekekeh, looks like we have weak guests. So weak." I forgot! Bug types don't work much against Ghost types. Silly me, I still have my lightning heheh.

Volk glared at the Haunter on the left and mumbled, "Leave this to me. I'll make sure I'll do a good job." And with that, Volk send out several spiderwebs of electricity which burst around the Haunter. It retaliated with a Shadow Ball, knocking the Joltik squarely on the feet. Volk stumbled as he launched an Electro Ball at the Haunter. It swerved but badly grazed the Ghost type Pokemon on the side. The Haunter then gathered eerie particles and floated forward to slam a purple fist on Volk's head.

"Ouch!" He cried out and Volk countered with another nasty Electroweb. The Haunter went numbed and it's ghostly hands wriggled helplessly. Volk took a chance and blasted a ferocious Signal Beam of swirling maroon and lush bright yellow. The Haunter was flung against a wall but took towards the Joltik with a glowing gray fist. Volk tried to evade it but the Haunter took hold of his hind legs and smacked him to the castle floor. The Joltik was not going to give up so fast and sunk his two pointy fangs into the Haunter's back. It squealed in agony and let out a horrifying cackle. Volk let go and fired a concentrated sphere of electricity at the Haunter's behind, followed by a moderate beam of flashing lights. A multitude of rainbow colours scattered and blew up in the air, with the result of an Electro Ball and Signal Beam leaving behind an unconscious Haunter.
 
Julie listened to Silver sing.She smiled and closed her eyes and her breathing became reguler again,where it had been messed up from her crying.When he finished singing she began to sing Our Song (by taylor swift).She always loved that song.She was doing her best to pick her songs carefully,where none would relate to breaking up or anything of that sort.Eyes looked downwards again and once again she noticed how high up they were.She gripped the branch with her left arm while her right remained around Silver.Julie had never been one for hights,but she'd do anything for Silver.She continued singing intill the end of the song then she stopped.She turned to Silver and a small half smile appeared on her face.She couldn't think of anything to cheer him up,which killed her inside.She didn't want him to stay upset,but with the problem with Lucifer,and everything else that just went on,she couldn't do anything.She hugged him tight with her right arm.
 
Silver listened to her sing. He loved her voice. He sighed and layed down, resting his head in her lap, his tail twitching randomly, very slowly. When she finished, he sighed and closed his eyes, taking in her scent and her warmth. He began to sing Wake Me Up When September Ends by Green Day. He wanted the pain to go away, his heart to stop hurting. He loved his brother, but now... The feeling wasn't mutual...
 
Dusknoir saw one of the Haunter fleeing. Only he and another Haunter. The Stone Edge already inflicted alot of damage on him and he'd faint soon too. These intruders were way too strong for him. Maybe... The black Shinx could do it. It knew how to levitate, which was a wonder. Maybe he'd had some other special moves that could surprise them. Dusknoir started fleeing while the Haunter kept on defending. He ran to the black Shinx and woke him up. "...What?" said Sparky slowly. He looked at the Dusknoir. "Aargh, you're the one who hypnotized me!" he screamed. "But it felt good. Could you hypnotize me again? I want to sleep a bit more." he said. "...What a dumb little Shinx. Why is he so dumb? Why is the destined Shinx a dumb little kid?" Dusknoir thought. "Yeah, sure!" he said. Sparky started laughing. "Woohoo! Thanks alot, mr. Dusknoir!" Dusknoir hypnotized him once again. But in a different way. Sparky didn't resist because he wanted to fall asleep. But he didn't knew he wasn't going to fall asleep.

The Haunter was still standing strong and Dusknoir came back. A black little Shinx walked next to him. "Follow my master..." he said while staring to the front of him. "Good, little minion. Attack them!" screamed Dusknoir. "Yes, master... Attack the friendly Pokémon..." Sparky slowly said. He flew up into the sky and started levitating. Then, he started flying around Lucifer and once he got close enough, he bit him and then flew a bit further, then slowly flying around him once again. After a few bites of his sharp teeth, the Lucario'd have to faint. He'd make his master happy.
 
"Did you love Lucifer because he was a Lucario like you thought you were? If you answer yes then you're lying and you need to dig deeper. This goes for you too Lucifer!"

Suddenly Lucifer could hear Saphyre's thoughts far away. Guess she was screaming since her thoughts were loud and clear, and they were pretty far away, which shocked the black Lucario. Lucifer shook his head, it's just not the same anymore, he thought and focused on the battle. Stay out of this, Saphyre and help us! We've just passed the drawbridge!

To his surprise, the Dusknoir fled, "What a coward." Lucifer snorted and continued walking as his team walked behind him. When everything was going fine, the Dusknoir returned with a strange Shinx. A Shinx?

"Follow my master..." the Shinx said and stared at us, which made Lucifer frown and wonder. What was a little Shinx doing in Darkrai's Castle? What was going on?

"Yes, master... Attack the friendly Pokémon..." then the Shinx spoke in a robotic tone and walked towards Lucifer. Friendly?! Oh no, I am NOT friendly- Lucifer wanted to protest but suddenly he lunged and bit Lucifer, making Lucifer flinch in pain. Then the Shinx stepped back, and bit him again. Lucifer roared as the black Shinx bit him, and flung him away with all his might.

"You've picked the wrong Lucario to mess with, Shinx." Lucifer growled and placed his hands together, then spreading them outwards as a yellow bone was formed in his paws. Lucifer jumped forward and swept the enemies in front of him with one strong lower sweep, hitting the Dusknoir and the Shinx.

Something was weird. The Shinx was speaking in a robotic tone...and his eyes...he...he was hypnotised! By who, the Dusknoir? So that's what he's up to eh? Lucifer then lunged forward, jabbing the Dusnoir with his bone in order to stop him from hypnotising. His wounds - bite marks hurt a lot, but he managed to ignore the pain for now.
 
Dusknoir ignored the pain caused by Lucifer. The black Shinx stopped following Dusknoirs orders very slowly. He landed. "You fool! Keep on levitating!" Dusknoir screamed. "Yes... Master..." Sparky said. He started levitating, but landed right after leaving the ground. "Master..." Sparky said. "You! Come here!" Dusknoir screamed. Sparky slowly walked to Dusknoir. But very slowly. "Look at me!" Sparky looked at Dusknoir, who rehypnotized him. Sparky gained back all of his power and started levitating again. He looked stronger than before and could fly at an amazing speed. He flew at Lucifer with a speed of 30km/h (dunno what it is in miles) and crashed into him with a big bang.

Shade whimpered making her way around Paranoia. She had heard that some Pokemon where heading to Darkrai's castle and wanted to find them. Anything to end the nightmares. she thought as she looked around trying to find her way to the castle. She was young only nine years old and her blood red eyes shone through the darkness. She was frightened and alone, scared that either she would die in this city or that her parents would come back. She didn't know which she was more afraid of, and after searching for awhile she finally found her way to the castle. Shade whimpered again as a bruise sent a jab of pain through her and the exhaustion was growing to be too much. Shade collapsed eyes closing even though she tried to stay awake and within minutes she was crying and yelping due to nightmares.
