I suggest the Pokecommunity event oragnizers should have a green text at user name, If PC Suppoters were also Event Oragnizers, their name should be:
    username
    For the Super/Admin/Normal mod:
    Moderator
    Super mod:
    Super Moderator
    Assistant always green xD

Um... I think an Event Organizer badge is enough, honestly. Plus it's only temporary; once the get-together is done we'll all revert to our former usergroups. I don't think there is a point in colored usernames.

I really don't think that'd be necessary. As DD said, a badge is more than enough. Besides, with all due respect... the split-color idea would look a little tacky, in my opinion. :s

And a split-colour sort of thing would be pretty impossible, too.

Well, what about those of us that aren't supporters or anything, can get a green username for the time being?
But what would be the purpose? If anything, I think it would confuse people more. People who are not familiar with the event would be asking what this new format means & how to get their own usernames green, and the GT8 would hurt from a bunch of uncommitted applicants who would just be looking for a colorful name, I assure you.

It's possible, just requires that each person have their own usergroup :P

The badge is more than enough. Although for Supporters, it might be better to put the EO badge over the Supporter one, just because for the time being that's more important. It's not more important than the actual staff badges, but imo it is more important than the supporter ones.

I just like seeing the whole badge

I get the feeling that because it's temporary it's technically the least important of all the badges, therefore the last one to be shown in all cases. ;(

That makes sense, but it's so pretty and so rarely shown since so many EOs are Supporters as well that it makes me sad that it's almost never seen in all its glory. :(

Seeing as the Event Organizer user group is only around for about 3 weeks a year, I don't really see why changing the username font colour is necessary. A badge is enough.

Yet fact remains that the badge is not for people to show it off, it's to identify the Event Organizers. Even in its small form, it's noticeable and serves its purpose.

I thought people wanted to organize events, not to sport cool badges. I want to believe all EOs really want to help with the GT8 and nothing more.

I don't really care if people are doing it for the badge or the privilege of helping out. Either way benefits the community and if the badge inspires people to take on some responsibility and plan things for other members, awesome.

Same way I don't care if someone donates purely out of the goodness of their heart or for the perks. Same end result either way, really. /shrug

Um...wow. I was kidding o_O I was just saying that I liked the way the badge looked, is it bad to like it as well as want to help? This seemed kind of barbed for no reason ._.
