I'm not sure if I have put this in the right place but I was curious about legendary pokemon in ORAS that people might not have got

e.g. the 3 Regi's, the 3 lake pokemon

and I was curious if we would get the event pokemon like Victini, Mew and Arceus and I went on Serebii and I spotted this about mew

Omega Ruby Transfer or receive from event
Alpha Sapphire Transfer or receive from event

I looked to see if there was an event on but the last event for mew was in 2010 but does that mean we will be getting an event for mew in the future or am I being stupid

The event legendaries can't be caught within the game I'm afraid. But every other legendary excluding Mewtwo, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygrade and the Kanto bird trio are all catchable.

by getting the Mew in 2010, waiting 5 years and transferring now. Essentially the reason Serebii says that is because you can get the events from years past and simply trade them to future games or have other people who have them trade them to you. The mew that was catchable way back in 2004 is still transferable if you have been trading them from game to game since then.

Seriously; that has officially taken the throne of 'Most Difficult Event Pokemon' personally.

yeah but you're just reading way too deeply into it. the X/Y description were written well over a year before the ORAS description went online, at that time Mew could be caught in Dream World and sent to X and Y from gen 5, and since ORAS came out (I'm not sure if you noticed) they almost immediately stopped giving out event pokemon in X and Y, and now it's ONLY ORAS, so you can't get any of these event legendaries by event on X Y (besides Darkrai and Jirachi, both of which have expired) because they no longer give out event pokemon to X and Y, so why would Serebii say "event" in X and Y if X and Y wlll never be getting events again?

Since Emerald had the Faraway Island event (if i'm not mistaken), there might be some chance of a Mew distribution for these games at some coming point. I just get that suspicion based on that.

I actually have a Faraway Island Mew that I was lucky enough to find on an Emerald version that was being sold in a flea market. Quite a rare find, I left it untouched too, Lv. 30.

That was Emerald though, these are Ruby and Sapphire remakes. I don't think we'll get any more legends after Hoopa and possibly Volcanion.

I would like Manaphy too. Did the event Japan of it during HGSS had arrive in the USA too? As I don't recall that it did.

Japan has already got event legendaries going like Shaymin and Keldeo and Victini, aswell aswell as item events
