    i did yesterday.
    i was upset, it was these candy cane lights that i put up.
    we had about 10 of them, they stole 4.
    when i woke up the next day, they returned one of the candy canes..>.<
    i mean seriously, what are people going to do with them?

    I haven't, but that's really unfortunate. I mean, how low must a person be to steal Christmas lights? The world is full of really stupid/desperate people, I suppose.

    I've never had my lights stolen, probably because I rarely put them up.
    People just get lower and lower.
    Must be pretty cheap to steal christmas lights that they could probably buy and put up themselves for $3-4.
     
    No its never happened to me. Mainly because I live on a dead end so my parents don't bother putting any up. Although one year we put up little light up deer, but they got ran over by a snow plow. xD

    I haven't had them stolen, but they were broken, I spent 8 hours putting up my lights last year, then someone came and broke them all, including my reindeer made out of lights....
     
    No, that's kind of a dick move. What the hell are you gonna do with christmas lights? XD my neighborhood is nice so..there's not much theft going around, let alone christmas light theft.
     
    Seeing as I don't celebrate Christmas, I never. Your story is very unfortunate, though. :(
     
    Nope, my Christmas stuff has been safe so far. But my neighbor once had her Christmas geese nailed. Like, hammer and real nail nailed. It was like woahhhhh. :/

    I've had some of my Christmas decorations vandalized back when we lived in the city, but no, I've never had any Christmas decorations actually stolen. I... just don't see why someone would even go through the trouble of doing that.

    Maybe they were jealous of your purty candy canes? D:
     
    I live in a dorm, so we don't put up lights. I don't live in a neighborhood where that would be a problem at all though.
