Experiments [PG-13]

Jeremy raised his brow, obiously she was lying. He didn't say anything though. He let it go for now. If he had to, he'd carry her, even if she protested, he would. So he just walked, pretending not to know she was lying, but they both knew she was, so he didn't need to say anything anyway.

Caresse sighed quietly and walked next to him not letting go of his hand. She knew that he knew she was lying and it made her wonder why he let it slide. It confused her and she kept glancing at him as she rubbed her eyes tiredly with her free hand.

Jack continued walking he was alone much like he was for most of his life. He heard voices what sounded like to him a pompous douche and winy girl so he headed in that direction eventually seeing them in the distance. As he got closer he decided top ask them a question " so where you guys plan on sleeping for the night?"

When they got to the caves Luphen smiled and pointed to one of them in the middle and said,"That one looks good." Then he lead her inside the cave. "We will be safe in here for awhile."

Then Luphen pressed his hand against his wound on his chest and used his ice to cover his wound.

Aura sat down and removed her hat from her head. She huffed more hair out of her face. Note to self, cut hair. She stuffed her hat into her back pack and shoved it aside. She pulled her knees up to her chest, leaning against the cave wall.

"You gonna be alright?" she asked, her chin resting on her knees.

Aura put on a thoughtful expression. "I'm. . . as good as I'm going to get." she smiled. "I've got my own wounds to heal, metaphorically anyway." she laughed.

"Oh, yeah. Since we're kinda partners now, we should probably get to know a little bit about one another." she said.

Drake finally managed to create enough holes to crawl through the ice and continue his pursuit. His hands were tingling a bit, the electricity coursing through them. His hands were numb from the ice, but if they weren't, he would probably be in pain. He crawled through the ice. He knew the two Experiments were still close, they were in no condition to travel far. He decided to continue following them. When he made his way, he arrived at an area with multiple caverns.

Great, he thought, they're probably in one of them, but which one?

It would take him a while to look through all of them for them. They also probably had exits through the other sides, so if he waited for them on this end, they'd come out the other. He decided to pick the first one and relax in there for a while. He'll try to continue to find them afterward. However, he didn't want to wait long. The longer he waits, the more strength they recover. He decided to wait long enough to find a counter to her invisibility, his ice, and the other sensing ability.

"Well, I'm fourteen, soon to be fifteen. Um, I have an older sister named Hayley, but we don't really get along. She's the straight A student. Never gets in trouble. Our parents love her. Me on the other hand, I'm the trouble maker. The girl people give up on." she rolled her eyes. "According to my school, I'm heartless."

She sighed and held her head down. "What about you?"

He said," I just turn seventeen, and I was adopted by my grandparents when my parents abandoned me at two months. I don't have any siblings and usually I'm very lazy and sleepy. I didn't do well in school because I either was sleep or never went. The Corp got me my junior year because my parents turned me into them."

Then he sat quiet for a min and added,"Also I don't think your heartless."

"Hm. So you're. . . three years older than me." she said, then added, "and thanks. You're probably the first person to say that to me." she stretched, then layed her back against the ground. She put her arms behind her head and just watched the ceiling of the cave.

Aura sighed and turned her head. Luphen was asleep, as she should be, but she couldn't. Today had been, long, tiring, and all she wanted was for it to end. But it didn't seem that was going to happen anytime soon, not with her luck anyway. She rolled over onto her side, looking all around the cave.

She pulled her backpack so it was where her head could rest on it. "Goodnight Luphen." even though he couldn't hear her, she said it anyway. She closed her eyes. She probably wouldn't fall asleep at all, but she could try, that's all she could ever do was try, and hopefully something will work out right.

(OOC: Nighty-night! I shall return tomorrow!)

Eric was running across a forest at high speeds. He was beginning to feel tired, but after seeing balls of fire falling nearby, he thought he had no time for stopping.

Minutes later he was exhausted. He couldn't keep on running anymore. He looked around and he could see a small city in the horizon. I've gone too far... he said to himself and chuckled.

He sat down and stretched his legs, and waited for a few minutes until he felt he was ready to run again.

Thanks for the powers, Corp...Now catch me if you can... he said and chuckled again.

He looked up at the sky and noticed the sun wasn't there anymore. It was dark and Eric was beginning to feel sleepy. He got up and walked towards a big tree. He lied down next to it and fell asleep in a few seconds.

(OOC: I probably won't be able to post for the rest of the day.)

Aura opened her eyes and stretched her arms above her head, sitting up. She'd slept a little, not much, but a little, enough to give her strength back. It was still early, and Luphen was still sleeping. Aura leaned over her bag, pulling out her MP3 player, and putting the ear buds in her ears. She stood to her feet, stretching again.

She walked to the entrance to the cave and decided to do some exploring. Before she left, she looked back. She shook her head. I don't need to worry. He can take care of himself, and I'll be back anyway. With that, she started walking, pressing play on her MP3, and began exploring.

Drake didn't sleep much, but he had planned out the perfect way to take them out. Now, all he needed to do was find them. It would take a while to go through all of the caves. He decided to start with the one he was resting in. In he went, and made a quick survey through. He had reached what he believe to be the end of it, and smiled. These caves must have only one exit.

So if I stay at the entrances of all of them, they might come out.

Then a sudden realization hit him. How did he even know they were in these caves? What if it turned out they weren't and he was wasting time? He was going to have to take that risk. With that, Drake proceeded to the entrance of the cave.

Aura sighed, and turned up the music on her MP3 player. Stated simply, she was lost. She'd figured wandering around was a good idea, get to know her surroundings. Though it seemed like all it did was confuse her even more. Every inch of the place looked the same, and she couldn't tell one place from the other. She wasn't sure how she was going to find her way back to where Luphen was.

Dang it, I left my backpack there! She growled in aggravation. Sometimes she could be so stupid. Maybe if she just kept wandering, she'd find her way back. So she did just that, just kept wandering around, thinking maybe she'd get lucky and make it back without running into any trouble. All she could do was hope.

Drake had stopped at the entrance of the cave. He had wanted to try something. He look passed the see of trees, hoping to catch something. His eyes burned, he could tell he might be overusing them, but he put aside the pain. He spotted someone a distance off, wandering. It might have been one of them.

Drake took off without a moment's hesitation. This time, it appeared that this one was alone, but he shouldn't assume that. Still, now that he had some grasp on their powers, he would be fine.

This is going to be fun.

Aura pulled her ear buds out and stuffed them in her jacket pocket. That's it, she'd had it! Yesterday had sucked, and today wasn't starting out to well. So she put her face in her hands, and she screamed. She screamed loudly. She'd needed to for a while, and had held it back, but she was too mad, too aggravated, and too fed up with this whole situation.

She huffed and stuffed her hands in her pockets. "Well, that felt good." she said and sighed. She felt better, but she was still lost.
