Experiments [PG-13]

Aura furrowed her brows and shook her head. "I don't know anything else. I wasn't around the others very long. Um, there's a kid named Alex, but I really don't know anything about him. Not besides the fact that he led us all out. I guess he was the leader until I suggested we split up." she turned her head around a second when she heard someone come in. Her eyes widened, but she turned her head back around, shaking it.
 
Eric finished "doing his business" and washed his hands quickly, then hid behind the door, trying to hear what Aura was telling the other guy. He was beginning to get mad but stayed calm.

You...You are selling me out...I bet he's one of those Corp peasants...


 
"Follow me." Jeremy said, walking towards the Northwest. "I heard some of the others heading towards the city. We may be able to run into a few Experiments. I've only personally met one, and she's a fiesty one, so we don't want to take her on yet." it seemed like he was saying most of this to himself.
 
Caresse listened to him and sighed "It's dangerous to take on any of them without observing them first. Since we have no idea what there powers are...and there's always the chance that like me some of them have one power they can't control" she said before yawning. "Are we gonna find a place to rest in town?"
 
Jack heard northwest and started walking faster nothing else Jeremy said interested him. "I will kill that guy with the weird eyes he can count on it" Jack mumbled to himself as he continued walking "So what other powers do you have?" Jack ask this not because he cared but because he wanted to know if they could be useful or if they could get in his way.
 
Jeremy walked a little faster, keeping up with the other kid. "I'm a lie detector." he said.
 
Drake observed as she turned around and began shaking her head. Drake put down his pencil for a moment and silently asked her.

"Is there one of them in here now?" He didn't expect a fight right in the middle of the city, but would have no problem doing so if he had to.

Drake looked at her, and said, "You remember our deal, do you not? Is one of them here now?"
 
Eric listened the conversation as his heart pounded faster.

Oh, bloody hell...He's definitely a Corp peasant...Bloody, hell...he knows I'm here.

Eric stood silently in a place where he couldn't be spotted upon entering the bathroom and waited patienly. He had to get out of there, and fast.

Powers, get ready...
 
Aura put her head in her hands. She knew he probably knew she was a traitor. And if he didn't hate her yet, her telling Drake he was here would make him hate her. She didn't want to be hated, it was the last thing she wanted. Back home, people always hated her. She didn't want someone else to as well. But she knew she had to, for her own sake.

"Eric's here." she whispered, loud enough for Drake to hear. She was digging her own grave. If Drake didn't kill her, one of the Experiments would.
 
"so can i ask a serious question, how did you plan to kill any of the experiment with powers like that?" Jack put down Jeremy as useless and waited on the other girl to reply "and you tall stuff?"
 
Caresse yawned again. "I have accelerated healing. I can heal myself and others quicker than normal and like I said I can cause devastating illusions...though after you left the first time I accidentally used that one on myself" she sighed "Still can't control it"
 
Jeremy scofted. "Sure, my powers won't do much for battle, but their good defensive skills. I can battle without powers. I've been training in karate for the past ten years, along with my best friend." he said.
 
Drake had to think quickly. The kid named Eric was here. According to the Experiment, he had superspeed. If he wanted to take him out, he had to do it fast.

"Listen to me very carefully. You will tell me who he is. What he is wearing.Where he is right now. Do not point at him. Understand?"

Drake put his hands under the table and prepared two sparkles of electricity. The room was noisy, so it couldn't be heard too well.
 
Jack became depressed as he thought to himself as walking with to worthless people one with powers more useful of a interrogator in the fbi and the other a nurse who cant control her powers of devastating illusions. "I can tell you right now a karate chop will do nothing to ice man and theres another guy who has psychic powers" Jack continued walking anxious to get to the city "Me i have fire manipulation and thats all you need to know right now"
 
Caresse looked at him. "I can help kill them..but in order to do that I need to get my hands on a gun. I'm a pretty good shot with a pistol" she said yawning again. By this point she was forcing herself to stay awake back walking on her feet again since she refused to be carried.
 
Aura nodded. "He's wearing a purple shirt, a black pinstripe vest, black pinstripe pants, and brown shoes. When I saw him, he went towards the restrooms. So I'm assuming he's in that general area. I can hear his breathing, but I'm not sure if he's in the restroom or just outside of it." she wanted to smack herself. She didn't even thinking twice about telling him this information. And at that moment, she hated that she had a photographic memory. Sooner or later, everyone was going to hate her.
 
"You're right. My powers, and my karate won't do a whole lot of good alone. But think of it this way. I can use my powers, and tire them out. Once they're powers are weakened, I can use my karate to my advantage. I am smarter than I look. I plan things out thoroughly before I make actions." Jeremy stated.
 
Eric heard Aura telling him how he looked.

Unbelievable...I can't believe we were on the same team...I should kill you...

He stayed silent, despite the fact that he wanted to explode like a firecracker.

Now I bet the Corp peasant will come this way...I gotta do this really smooth, no mistakes...I will set things straight...
 
Drake nodded at her response, surprised a bit by her accuracy of the description. He looked around briefly towards the direction of the bathroom before thinking he spotted the man who matches the description of what she said. He was hiding in the corner next to the bathroom.

"Wait right here. Don't move.", he said coldly.

In one swift movement. He pointed the first jolt of electricity at the ceiling, causing all of the lights to spark and explode.

Try running out in the dark, Drake thought ot himself. It may have been dark inside the diner now, but with Drake's eyes, he saw everything. The second jolt of electricity pointed straight at Eric, and released from his two fingers, travelling at incredible speed. The Bolt of Electricity was flung straight at Eric.
