    • Night Six

    "Present time! Everyone, gather round and get ready to open your gifts!" Naku called out in a cheerful tone. He then turned to JaDe.

    "No presents for evil men!" He grabbed the green box from JaDe as the Governor's soldiers escorted him to the pyre. JaDe simply looked dejected at the loss of his present.

    "Okay, let's open up this green present! What's inside, let us see!" He cracked open the box, and big letters floated out in hovered in the air.

    "KittE"​

    Naku closed the present and turned to the others. Lycanthropy seemed eager to open the beige box, and did so before getting acknowledgment from anyone else.

    The beige box exploded and Lycanthropy's body flew in pieces all over the place.

    Jupiter was also a bit eager, and when he opened the white present, an energy vortex literally sucked his face off, followed by his skin and organs. All that was left was a skeleton.

    Zami walked over and retrieved a paper from Jupiter. His last will and testament. She narrowed her eyes at Naku. "What the fuck kind of presents are these?"

    Naku shrugged. "I never said they were all good surprises."

    Zami swore under her breath. "Stupid fucking event. I thought this was supposed to be a serious narrative? This is what we get when we focus on Naku."

    She turned to the soldiers, who guarded JaDe on his pyre. "Just burn him already! Get this bullcrap over with!"

    They dropped a torch onto the wood. Flames quickly engulfed JaDe and turned a deep black. He was a Lycan.

    Good, something useful.

    Everyone else continued to open their presents. Whatever else was inside them would have to wait until morning.


    JaDe.X105 is dead. He was a Werebeast.

    Lycanthropy is dead. He was, ironically, a Havenite.

    Jupiter is dead. He was a Havenite.

    • Day Seven

    The Necromancer stood within an array of enchanted traps, laughing at the Lycan that he had caught.

    "Looks like these traps are far more useful to me than they were to the hunter."

    Infinite struggled in an attempt to free herself from the trap, but her efforts were futile. The Necromancer snapped their fingers, causing the contraption to close around Infinite, tearing her to shreds.

    "What misfortune befalls you poor beasts. One of you has fallen, another has been cured. The one you've tried to turn was murdered by one of her allies! Evidently she wasn't a great guard if she couldn't even protect herself. And the Ambassador temporarily getting the powers of some Olive Witch, preventing you from getting your revenge for that little cub of yours? How tragic."

    The Alpha and its remaining allies snarled.

    "You may leave now," the Necromancer finished.

    The Alpha let out another warbling howl. It was going to prevent as much Therian blood from being spilled as possible.

    The beasts fled.

    The Necromancer laughed.

    Across town, the Ambassador did the same. She was building a fine group. Four new recruits this night alone! Even that Necromancer had expressed interest. At this rate the Lycans would be eradicated in just over a day.

    But that damn Coroner! He'd used his present to kill Juno! And after the Alchemist had hit the Ambassador with a truth potion? She was not pleased. But come morning, it would be time to go on the offensive. These Lycans were going to perish. This wasn't the first time she'd worked to take down Haven's largest threats, and maybe this time she'd survive.

    At that moment, the "damn Coroner" was in the lab examining bodies. Some interesting finds among the dead.

    When the town awoke, they'd be greeted by the nearly unidentifiable remains of Infinite, as well as the almost serene corpse of Juno sitting by the podium.

    Naku walked out and noticed a few presents remaining.

    "Happy Lynchmas!" he exclaimed.


    Infinite is dead. She was a Werebeast.

    no is dead. She was a Havenite.

    I see my suspicion was right and infinite was a werebeast. Saves me some work.

    Anyway I can confirm that Gio7sm is also a werebeast.

    Well, a least my death was more graceful than, say, having my face sucked off or being blown apart. So thank you, Naku. :P

    Ash stepped forward and opened her black present.

    "Good riddance, Werecat!" she yelled. As the black present was opened, it flew from Ash's hands and turned into a black hole.

    eros, reacting as quickly as any true feline should, ripped open his crimson present in retaliation. A giant blade flew forth and impaled Ash, killing her instantly. Seconds later eros lost his footing and was sucked into the abyss.

    Two more dead, and the day had just started.


    eros is dead. He was a Werebeast.

    Ash is dead. She was a Havenite.
