Rune blinked at the large creature which now stared right at her. She blinked and stared back, showing no fear in her face, but she would not be caught off guard should the creature decide to strike at her. She smiled cheerily at it and reached back to the side of her pack, grasping her spear for a brief moment, but it was not a hostile gesture, even the easily offended could see it was a gesture of warning, a 'you strike, i strike back' kind of thing, however the way it was taken was totally up to Aora, the friendly warning had been sent and Rune was ready for whatever would occur next, be it an attack, a question, or a snort of disinterest.

Some distance away from the others on a mountain ledge, an earth dragon stood in uneasy silence. His dark-feathered wings folded, Ryu stared silently over his territory--or rather, his clan's territory. A number of dragons are drawing near to this area . . . It will be difficult to combat all of them. Hopefully, they have no intention of entering this territory. Ryu's silver eyes narrowed. If they do, I will have no choice but to battle.

A faint breeze brushed past Ryu, rippling through his feathers and over his scales. Raising his black wings, the dragon raised himself from the ground and began to soar as he patrolled the desolate land.

Kaarnishia glanced towards the human without much concern, returning her gaze to the two before her.

" Very well, I shall explain..." She began, a low rumbling growl sounding from her as she prepared herself for the telling of this tale.

" I am searching...searching for dragons worthy enough to become part of the War clan." The silver stated, her voice almost cold in is detachment. " My clan was kil- no Masacered by gryphons and I have sworn to seek revenge..."

" Thus, I ask you Myst, would you like to attempt to learn the arts of War?" She asked, her crimson eyes boring into his. If he said no, then she would leave him. But, if he said yes, she would take him under her wing. She showed nothing of her emotions as she awaited his response.

Bob, Chan, and Joe (I know, not very Mythic-like names, but I named them that on purpose) arrived about a mile away from where many other dragons were gathering.

"Cool. It must be a party! Come on, let's go!" Bob yelled, dashing forward. Chan grabbed Bob's neck and pulled him back.

"Bob, we can't go there. You know why?" Bob shook his head, and his brother sighed.

"Because every time we go near another Dragon, we get shunned away, or attacked, or insulted. Every 'brotheren" we've ever come in contact with has called us a freak and then attacked us." He then smirked. "''Course, we always win...but that's not the point. Are you listening to me Bob?" He then noticed the ground beneath him moving, as well as Joe trying to catch up with them.

"I think Bob needs his ears cleaned out!" the blue dragon yelled as he ran behind them. Facing forward again, he saw Bob had ignored him and ran anyway. They then stopped in front of the crowd of dragons.

"Two-headed dragon + what seem like normal dragons = :dead: Chan thought to himself. He braced himself for the worst...

"Hello, my name is Bob!" his enthusiastic brother exclaimed.

His ominous green glowing eyes pinned down carefully as his descent through the clouds continued. He looked through the mist as his descent continued. He was careful. A few minutes ago a bolt of ice had passed from underneath those clouds heading straight at his underbelly. It almost certainly had to have been an attack addressed to him. He was snorting every few seconds, as the water vapors that were forming as he drew in every breath of air in the clouds bothered him. He then stopped just as he was about to breach the cloud's surface.
He prepared his position and started hovering gently, the only sound he made being that of his wings' bones cracking, just like every other bone in his body did. He then pulled his lower body up and leaned his head downwards, plunging out of the clouds like an arrow, ready to attack whoever had fired upon him. But his plunge soon stopped as he saw a group of Dragons below. There had obviously been a fight that had nothing to do with him.

The claws on his wingtips clawed the air in a sign of relief, his eyes narrowing as he let out a light growl. He was thining wether or not to descend to them and make his presence known. He had been looking for Dragons ever since he left the village, but was not sure if it was okay to do so, given the fact that a battle had just taken place. He continued to stare down at them, his mind clouded in thoughts.
"Yes... I remember those types...", he thought to himself as he analized and identified each of their species, not out of curiosity, but as much as to test his Dracology, which had been buried deep within his mind for so many years since he last saw one of his kind.
Overcome by the thrill of it all, he ignored his conscious, and slowly began his descent towards them. He yelped out a dark, tortured roar as he continued his descent, then stopped, waiting to see their reaction.
"It has been so long that I've even forgotten how to present myself...", he thought to himself, the muscles in his body tightening as he became tensed, waiting for their feedback.

Kaarnishia, if she had been flustered by the appearance of the two headed dragon, and now the large male, did not show it. Instead she surveyed both with a sort of detatched coldness, that set up a wall of sorts between her and these others. There were so many of them, each one unique. She would test them all. The female thought with a glint in her crimson eyes. The dragoness lowed her head slightly in acknowlagement to the newcomers, deciding which she should test first.

Searinox watched them puzzled and tried to make out their connection and what each was doing. After a few seconds it soon became clear that the slver female in the middle was being the one in everyone's focus. Could she have been their leader? She seemed to be uneasy with all their presences though.
He descended even further, until the flapping of his wings started making waves in the water below, about ten meters away from her. He gazed at her and the odd group of different Dragons behind her, thinking what to say. He then spoke, trying to adapt his dark and sly voice into a more polite one.
"Am I to be cautious?"
His eyes widened at the sound of his own words. He did not know what made him say that. Apparently he was so focused on the tone of his voice that he had forgotten the words themselves, and had simply spoken out automatically, without thinking his words.

Rune's eyes were wide with disbelief. She'd seen dragons before many times in her long years, but never this many and never so many types in the same place all at once... it was both a wondrous sight and a frightening one to her. Then, Rune noticed the dismissive glance she got from Kaaranisha and she felt insulted, but it was to be expected.. she was a mere human among dragons and even if she could transform into one, she was still not a true dragon, so it might only cause more problems.

Though she was interested in learning more of the war clan, Rune felt it would be best to simply observe and not speak, so she slowly took a few steps back to put some distance between herself and the dragons and waited patiently, hoping her movement had not drawn more attention to her.

(( Kaarnishia is Silver))

The female turned her attention to the flying male, her eyes gleaming knowingly.

" That is up to you." She stated emotionlessly, rising to her feet. " Those of you that wish to become War dragons must prove yourselves to me...In battle."

The female allowed the con dar within her blood to seep outward, filling every part of her with it's almost addictive rush. A faint glow illuminated her scales once again, Kaarnishia letting out a soft growl. The con dar was a thing that ran in all war dragons, even those who though were not directly linked to them held traces of War blood. Normally, had there been any other war blood carriers nearby, they too would have picked up on the Con Dar and their energy would have been activated. It was a sort of rallying spirit that pushed a dragon beyond the normal limits and brought the whole clan with it.

((Sorry. ^^;; *kicks his short memory and edits post*))

Searinox looked away for a moment, then perched himself on a nearby cliff, but did not fold his wings and stayed alert, watching the crimson aura radiate from her body. She most certainly was prepared for battle, whatever that meant.

"War, you ask? I have merely come to search for my own kind. News of the war and the War Dragons' slaughter made it even more urgent." He looked away at the others around her, examining each one's features. He smiled for a moment, then looked back at Kaarnishia. "I do not seek battle..." He paused for a moment, growling as his mind tried to make the right decision. "What a way to encounter my bretheren... ready for battle as always... just like my father.", he said, a human's heart still beating in him.

Up to this day he had never been able to understand the default hostillity of his kind. He had never had a warrior's spiritual discipline, let alone the impulse to test newcomers that way. The very reason why he settled with humans for a while. And now he had his own doubts about re-joining them. But he also knew that life with humans was difficult, acceptance being very hard.

He lowered his head, looking at his reflection in the water. "So this is who I am... a Dragon... ... ... our armoured scales, claws, fire breath... are we really born to fight?" He closed his eyes for a moment, then looked back at the silver Dragoness.

He had lived with that question all his life, but life in turn had taught him that there are times when all questions are to be put aside, and action is to be taken. More than once had his uncertainty caused him trouble, with both humansand other Dragons. And he knew that as on previous occasions, he would not find the answer now. Now was the time for a choice.
But which one?

"I came looking for my kind... if I must fight to help them..." He widened the pair of claws on his wings in an attacking stance as the urge to defend grew within him, stretching out his wings as far as they could go. "...then fight I shall." ,he said with a flat voice bearing his teeth, staring back into her eyes, determination radiating from them.
A few crackle sounds came from his bones as his muscles tightened and his body became tensed.

"My choice has been made... may Draco's shining star guide me, for I know not what I have chosen. I only hope I've chosen well.", he said to himself, trying to drive away his uncertainty.

Myst was briefly confused by the events that unfolded around him as a group of dragons all shapes and sizes seemed to gather in the area. As Myst was about to decide on which one to speak to first, he noticed to his delight something even more interesting; a human was standing on the edge of the scene, apparently content to watch. And to make it even more interesting, the human seemed to smell of dragon. Noticing that Karniishia was about to 'test' the others, Myst gave her a quick reply;

"It's a big decision." he said cautiously "I'll get back to you on that when you're done testing the others, alright?" with that, he flew a bit away from the rest to avoid getting caught in potential crossfire and landed within the vicinity of the human.

"Hello." he said, his clear blue eyes shining with a friendly but curious look. Ohh...I hope she's not scared of me. Myst thought for himself, his tail flicking back and forth a bit. He really wanted to talk with this human.

"Ah, so the stars were right," Aora mused, lowering her powerful head as in deep of thought. "I thought they were misleading me, or speaking in more riddles..." The pelt on her back sways gently in the wind, same as her whiskers which oddly held small life. "So, are you truly the last?"

Rune didn't even notice when Myst landed near her, she didn't even follow him with her eyes, her attention seemed fixed on Kaarnishia right now. She felt something weird going on with her body... like her blood was on fire and in fact her runes were glowing, even shining through her clothing. The girl's ordinary docile expression turned into a malicious grin and at once her spear was in her hand, grasped so firmly one might think the shaft would break.

In the next second, large wings which seemed to be aflame, ripped right through her shirt and tore her pack clean off and her spear's blade doubled in length [refer to hybrid form]. Now the smell of her dragonic blood was strong and that scent would seem familiar to Kaarnishia as it was similar to her own. As rune stood there, the scent of her mingled human and dragon blood seemed to fade to full dragon. she seemed.... changed, not only physically, but mentally as well.

Kaarnishia's eyes widened as the scent of her clan flooded to her, the blood in her veins surging wildly. It was part of the effect of the Con Dar, Kaarnishia's eyes taking on a golden hue as they landed on the transformed human. Tears gathered in her eyes as her heart pounded wildly. Someone was alive. The female lifted her head high, tilting her maw towards the heavens and releasing a blood chilling roar from deep within her soul. It echoed throughout the area, it's intensity laced with an undenying love for her kin.

Every fiber of her in that instant became dedicated completely and undeniabley to the girl before her. Devoted as she had been to the clan that had been so violently destroyed. The wind surged about wildly, lifting at the fur, wings, and feathers of the creatures that stood in this small area. Kaarnishia stared in shock at this girl before her, a mixture of joy and sorrow swirling about her.

Ryu hovered at the edge of his territory, dark wings spread as he surveyed the scene from his position. Due to his being some distance away, the dragon was unable to view the events with clarity. However, as a deafening roar erupted from the area, Ryu felt his feathered ears flatten themselves against the sound. Straightening his ears, the dragon continued to view the scene with increased interest. Though his was unsure what the roar signified, he doubted it would be of any positive significance to him.

"Chan, what's going on?" Bob whispered to his brother.

"Don't know. Don't care. They're caught up in something, but at least we're not being chased away like usual."

"So, you mean..." Chan nodded.

"Right, Bob. We may actually be accepted amongst some of our own kind!" Their whisper conversation ended at that. Their whole life, up until they were exiled, was spent on a remote island, where friendly dragons accepted them, despite the genetic disorder. After leaving, they had found that Dragons outside their home don't share the same mutual respect for multi-headed dragons.

This group was not of their home, true. But so far, nothing prejudice had been said to them. Actually, nothing at all had been said to them, save for a nod from the female dragon earlier. This same female seemed to be forming tears in her eyes of some sort, looking upon the dragon that had morphed from a human body.

"Who do you think she is?" Bob asked his brother out loud. Chan shook his head.

"Don't know. Long lost sister, perhaps?" They were suddenly interrupted by a very loud roar from the female dragon. Chan felt something deep within him. Was it...jealousy?

After all, his strongest roar didn't even compare to what she just let out.

His wings were wildly swaying in the wind that was encircling them. But his full attention was on the scene that was unfolding before him. The waters in the Dragon group's vicinity were caught by the whirlwind and started to spin into an incomplete whirlpool, whose center was situated somewhere on the land, where the two Dragons' unworldly auras were glowing.
He had previously not noticed the human that was within that group. And now that human had wings. To make things even more curious, she was glowing in the same way as the silver Dragoness was.

"Glowing Dragons?", he asked himself as he raced through his knowledge of the War Dragons. In a moment of realisation his eyes widened and he straightened his position, folding back his wings. "The Con Dar...?"

He watched the two stare eachother, obsering their facial expression. He wanted to say something, but failed to find the words, and realised it was not of him to say anything. He continued to watch them, waiting eagerly to see how they would react to eachother.

Myst's eyes widened at the sight of Rune's transformation. She's capable of being a dragon and a human? he thought for himself before a realization came to him. This was probably a phenomenon not too different from his own way of turning into an otter, even though she seemed to have gotten herself a far more interesting shape. The male made a mental note to ask her about it later before he continued to watch in silence as Kaarnishia let out a loud roar which, blood-curling though it was, had a definite ring of joy to it. Are they...releated maybe? Myst thought, eyeing the scene quizzically.

Rune too, like Kaarnishia, threw her head back and loosed a dragon's roar to the heavens fropm her human mouth, her hair as well changing in this new state. No longer its violet color, it now looked like it too was made of fire, however only starting halfway down, above that it was black. She didn't know why, but she felt great, better than she'd ever felt before and as she looked at Kaarnishia, she seemed familiar, as though she'd known her for many years, but she wondered how that could be... she had no blood ties and had only met her today.

Whatever the case, Rune cared little. After living this long with no one close to her, she'd found someone who she'd felt was kin to her and now she wasn't about to leave. From this point forward, she would stay by Kaarnishia's side and would take whatever good or bad came with it. Her gaze now returned to the dragoness before her, seemingly with two small fires blazing inside them.

Kaarnishia let out a docile growl, her aura pulsing slightly as it expanded. The dragoness moved closer to the winged human.

" Your name?" She asked softly, unable to say much more. The silver beast felt as though she had been reborn, the appearance of this female spurring forth emotion, a thing that she rarely felt anymore.
