Do you read or write fanfics of your fave anime/mangas?

I recently wrapped up a Pokemon fanfiction on another forum (and started here but abandoned.) As for my favorite series though, I haven't. All I've done is Pokemon fanfiction, and it fell from being my favorite long ago, replaced by superior anime. And I'm sick of writing fiction of any sort, so I'm not likely to in the foreseeable future.

I write fanfiction for pokémon. Haven't done anything for other series, but I'm pretty engaged as it is. Maybe in the far far future.

The only fanfiction I write that I strive to continue is my Pokemon fanfiction. I wrote a Kingdom Hearts fic once, but I got bored if it after the third chapter.

I've been writing Pokemon fanfiction for years, XD. As for other anime, I haven't until recently. Because I had so many things I wanted to write about, I eventually compromised and went with an Anime Crossover. That way my creative license is maximized. XD

I used to write Pokemon fanfics. Now all I do is read Vampire Knight ones. xD

I have written several fanfics about things, mainly Sailor Moon based, though I did write a Sailor Moon/Tenchi Muyo crossover.

I usually read more than write these days or write something original and turn it into an anime based thing.

Should get abck into it someday though, since there isn't many fanfics about my favourite anime pairings XD

No, I have over fifty of my own characters to play with. I find making my own setting and the people to go in it more enjoyable than using something someone else has created.
While all I do is simply ignore it, you could actually call me opposed to fan-fiction at heart, since it can somewhat mess up the characters' personalities as per how the majority ends up seeing them.

It really depends on your idea of what "fanfiction" is. By the traditional definition, I have written fanfiction, but only because I've used a universe from something already established. I think I've really only written one fanfic, a Pokémon one, however it didn't involve any of the anime characters – only the game events. And the only character from the game who appeared in it was Red. Everyone else was either original or nameless (i.e, nameless Rocket Grunts).

I have read fanfiction, though, mainly novelizations. I remember there was actually a decent novelization of Golden Sun on fanfiction.net. I have no idea if it's finished or has been abadoned, since it's been a long time since I've been there. In fact, I just recently found the email I got for joining it back in 2005.

I write only Pokémon fanfiction and original fiction. I like my favourite characters as they are and I know if I were to write about them, I'd ruin them. I never use canon characters in my fics, either. I only use original plots and my own region... But I like it how the excistense of Pokémon opens doors that could not be opened in original fiction. I write a lot more original stuff than fanfiction, though.

I used to have this big imagination for fanfics, but that's slowly died off since I was never able to pull one off despite my overflow of ideas Dx I might go for a one-shot sometime in the future, but I'm not sure~

I read a few every now and than though, particularly ones pertaining to my favorite pairings x]

I used to write Death Note ones :) (many of them are incomplete and I have to pick up on them) what I have started writing is stories I have made up myself :) which I hope get me somewhere :)
