It's been a while since a fanfic for this story is made...

@ Call of Dragons

-dream sequence = rushed... can be expanded a lot more, or even better, chopped up into smaller chunks and slowly feed it to your readers instead

-the "amnesia" like state can be worked on in terms of tone and diction... The narrator (althought narrator is not Dennis himself) still sounds so sure and confident... throw in retorical (sp?) questions to lower the level of confidence and so on

-relative length problem compare to other chapters... this means lesser description and everything compare to other chapters too. Guess bowling > writing? XD
 
I just finished chapter six. It's short, but very meaingful to the story. I put a ton of effort into that short chapter, and comments would be greatly appreciated, even bad ones. You can comment here, or in the thread itself.
 
I know this is somewhat off-topic, but there's a suggestion presented in Q&F that could affect the fanfic forum. Just thought I'd let you know. I like that Haruka screencap. XD

But... yeah. Does this mean that if a new forum is created, will it be a sub-forum of this place (like Non-Pokemon Fanfiction or something), or will it just be a separate place alltogether?
 
Meaning the other fanfics and the other RPGs will be seperated (it's still being voted upon) to prevent the mass turmoil. :P

And um, Kairi posting in fanfiction is new? Oh, never knew that.

Yeah. XP I don't get around as much as I should.
MCD: I'm not entirely sure. Probably a separate one in the other area like how fanfics and rp are handled here.
 
Wow...and my suggestion was just a subforum in the "Other fan fiction & Role Play" forum for fanfics.

Cause I got this Metriod fanfic that I want to do, but I don't want it getting lost and never read because of all the rps that are active there...

Oh well, change is good! XD

I got writers block with my fanfic here...I got metroid on the brain...can't think of anything else except shootin' them space pirates, and them cool suits samus gets. XD
 
I was plannign to start a multi-person written fanfic. Not a chain fanfic though. If you want to be in this fanfic team drop me a PM. I will also have to read at least one piece of your work to see if you qualify or not. Even if you do qualify, you might not have the same writing style that suits the story. For more information of the storyline drop me a PM also.

Well I'm off to play Metroid Prime again! YAY! (Don't be surprised if space pirates take over my fanfic and samus has to rescue it, sorry but I'm on a Samus Kick right now! XD)

I have posted chapter 5 of my fanfiction, A Hero Emerges. Read and review, I like reviews :) Because of the 20,000 character limit, the last two posts are actually one. Anyways, for the most part my fic is your typical OT fic, but I plan on introducing some deviation in my next chapter.

Oh, and thanks for your review, Mr Cat Dog. I've taken your words to heart and I will start editing my chapters so that my descriptions don't seem like lists anymore.
 
o_O More people like my reviews? That's new! XD Anyways - I'm going to start writing a series of short stories called: Mr Cat Dog's Oneshots of DOOOOOM! Well... I might scrap the DOOOOOM part, but they will be my one-shots. I'm hoping to see frosty's response on this XD
 
I meant liked as in thanked me for them. Many people flame me (I've had 5 bad reputation points from flamers), and some just go in a huff crawling under a corner in their own imaginary world. It's only recently that my reviews have been given positive feedback - someone even gave me a good reputation point for one of my reviews. And a nice comment :D

Anyways - the first story in my Oneshots of DOOOOOM! (which I'm keeping XD) is called Disgraced, and it's about an Umbreon who does something very disgraceful (obviously) XD.

ok this fanfic rush is beyond what I can handle... WE NEED TO RECRUIT MORE REVIEWERS! o.O; MCD and I will die if there's the 2 of us to handle 5 story updates on a daily basis x_x;

@ Road to Palantria

-hmm I'm opposite to MCD this time... I actually liked the latest chapter a *LOT* more than the "battle or nothing" scenes in the last few chapters. Lemme explain...

-the battles, especially the one with Arrsonal (sp?), is getting further and further apart from Pokemon... I'm all ok for Alternate Universe, but now it feels like an original story of magical powers and funny looking creatures more. Magic? I'm fine with that... but this much? I am not as happy about that... too much to digest. Personally, I'll rather prefer to see lesser original "magic" and perhaps let the trainers use Pokemon attacks to direct the fanfic closer to the Pokemon theory

-ok alternate universe, yes I know, but Articuno was almost like a common Pokemon there as if nothing's wrong with using an Articuno. Chris was also amazingly calm when seeing that a legendary Pokemon is actually owned by someone in this strange land.

-on the other hand, the latest chapter did a lot of explaining, as well as a few (not too many, but a few) implicit character description, which is always nice to see. Once again, this fanfic demonstrates its strenght in reality by talking about Chris and flying, which is a nice choice for inserting this short humorest scene. It's about time we get less tensed up after that long battle XD



Ok... new chapters of RoT need to be read, and many MANY new fanfics yet to be viewed >>;
 
There's such thing as recruiting reviewers? oO; Er, mind if I join? XP Although rest assured, I make plenty of mistakes in reviews sometimes.

lol... Of course we don't recruit reviewers as in "let's go out there and pay someone to read our stories!" but as in implying "there's so little reviewers in PC that we may have to even pay someone if we even want more reviewers." I just stuck an implicit thing to it. It's a play of diction, see! XD;; :geeky:

In plain normal non-Frosty-corrupted terms: "We need people to read as well as write."
 
Play of diction...cool! o.o; *remembers frosty's words of dictions :O!* Er..you pay someone to review? O_O; Um, yeah I'll just detect that funny sense of humor in that statement and go along with the flow. XD

Mmm anyway, I'll just gladly review. But it's not my fault if my corrupted 12 yr old reviews it the wrong way. I like reading fics, but sometimes, I sit and think and WONDER how MCD and frost can leave those kind of excellent reviews and be picky into saying what they want to say...just awesome. Do you give tutorials of reviewing? XD
