Favorite Anime Genre?

Mecha (GAR stuff especially) and Psychological, pretty much.

Stuff like Gurren Lagann, Death Note and Code Geass are win.

Oddly, despite that, Gintama is my second favourite anime. O_o
 
Slice of Life and and Romance/Comedies for me. Though I may watch Action/Adventure anime if the plot isn't too long.
 
No specific genre...going back to what one of the people above said it's quality, not quantity. It's also not genre specific. I too, tend to favor the darker side of anime. In fact the darker the better. Ergo proxy is one example some of you may recognize. To fo as far to say that Neon Genesis Evangelion is our mother or such drivel...I have to say I don't agree. It's definately quality anime but to have attained god-like status? I think not.
