Favorite Board Game

Just to get this section going with non-cardgame talk, what's your favorite board game to play?

My all-time favorite: Risk.

I also play D&D or games based off of it or similar to it on occasion, but that's not a traditional board game.

Chess, Checkers, and Scrabble. :D

You know, the board game... =D

This one is fun, though I've only played people online, and the rules weren't the same as the real game. I just kept laying pieces down until the opponent left one, and when it was my turn the only space left was a corner piece. I laid down a piece, and it cleared the board of all the opponents pieces. The opponent left the game soon after. :D

Yeah whoever designed that game (The online one) didn't do it very well....

My all-time favorite: Risk.

I've always wanted to try that game, but I never got around to getting it.

My 2 top favorites that I've played are Candyland, Chess, and Checkers. I've also tried to make my own board games that were vaguely similar to D&D, but they never turned out to be any good.

Has anyone heard of Mystery Mansion? That game is fun as h***. I also like Monopoly, Risk, and Settlers of Catan. Funny story about my friends and Settlers... we use 3 boards when we play.

Settlers of Catan, especially with the Cities and knights expansion pack (or whatever it is called in english).

IAlsoused to like monopoly, but I grew tired of it. That game gets repetitive after time.

The Pizza Game : This is one of my favorites.

Snakes and Ladders : Me, my sister and my mom used to play this.

Monopoly: Now. This is my favorite among all board games.

Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne, and Ticket to Ride.

I also enjoy the card game Bang, which I feel is more suited to be called a board game.

Monopoly, Scrabble, Life, and Clue.
Also, it's not really a board game, but my favorite of all when I was younger was Yahtzee!
I also had the Pokemon Yahtzee. Was really fun.

I've never heard of Settlers of Catan, but since so many people here like it, i'll check it out.

My favourite board games are Monopoly, Scrabble, Snakes & Ladders, Trivial Pursuit and Trouble (I THINK that's what it was called, I haven't played it for a long time)
