Favorite Generation

For me, it would definitely have to be generation three. It's featured an extremely unique region (in my opinion), and the storyline that these games had were very easy to get into. :) Second favorite is gen two, with generation one being third. As for fourth, I'd say gen six. Gen five is my least favorite.

I have very fond memories of generation IV. I feel like that's when I become fully aware of what was going on. Not exactly like IVs/EVS, but just like overall if that makes any sense. However I've spent so much time playing generation VI that I'd say they're about on par with each other. This is the generation I've gotten into competitive battling so that's definitely a plus.

The favorite gen other than One and Two has to be Four. It felt like a true upgrade and successor to gen Two. Day and Night changes, real evolution to Pokemon that needed them, and great remakes to the best Gen before that.

It's so hard to answer a question like this. I'd have to say that generation 3 is my favorite, just because the region is huge, there's lots of stuff to explore, the story is interesting, the E4 aren't too easy, etc. Second favorite is a tie between 6 and 1 xD
But my least favorite was generation 4. That I can tell with certainty.

Gen II will always hold a special place in my heart. I started with Gen I but I have many fond memories of playing Silver and Crystal. Great set of Pokemon, and I enjoyed watching the Johto anime as well. It might mainly be nostalgia talking (and I do like newer generations too!) but yeah.

Generation II Is has the most Uniqe Pokemon's if you ask me :)

I personally will always have a soft spot in my soul for Hoenn, so I'll have to say third generation.

The region itself was radically different from any other (being mainly tropical), and the pokemon designs reflected this. It was just really diverse.

On top of the regions design, it implemented a lot of new things, like natures, abilities, field weather, differences in pokemon (Spinda), and diving.

Overall, third gen just holds my heart. :)

Fourth generation for me. A lot of my favorite pokemon are in that generation and it's the first DS game I played.
