    In Pokemon X and Y, we again get a new line-up of eight Gym Leaders and they still continue the tradition of specializing in a certain type, and here's the Kalos Gym Leader crew if you didn't remember them:

    - Viola (Bug)
    - Grant (Rock)
    - Korrina (Fighting)
    - Ramos (Grass)
    - Clemont (Electric)
    - Valerie (Fairy)
    - Olympia (Psychic)
    - Wulfric (Ice)

    So yeah, who are your fave Gym Leaders of Kalos?

    Anyway, my favorite would have to be Clemont. His character is really cool, he has those cool arms that come out before you battle him and his Gym is reminiscent of the fudging Eiffel Tower. And he's the only one I didn't find insanely boring to battle the first time I played through, except maybe Grant.

    Valerie was kinda funny, as well.
     
    I only like Viola and Grant. The rest of them have really ugly, nonsensical designs.
     
    Viola, Grant, or Ramos, probably.

    I liked Viola because Bug Type and Surskit and fun Gym Design.

    Grant's Gym was so beautiful, and his Party was pretty awesome, he was hard, as well.

    Ramos because... Dunno. Tree?
     
    This thread is for favourite Gym Leader rather then gym design so I would have to go with Viola, she's the only one I've battle myself but I have seen the others on YouTube.
    Her character I find is rather energetic and her style is similar to mine in game.
    Let's not forget she's a pro photog!

    Ilike that guy Chinster. He wus reelly tough too beat!!! Lucky i had 3 water types on my teem so i beat him
     
    I loved Valerie. The gym and her outfit were by far the best amongst them all.
     
    Mine's Valerie. Loved the costume that she's worn, and she also provided me with quite a tough challenge when I battled against her in her gym. All her Pokémon were difficult to defeat, especially Sylveon. With the combination of Dazzling Gleam and Quick Attack, it was able to take down more than half of my team without any issues. :p Besides Valerie, I like Korrina as well.
     
    Come on guys. The obvious choice is Olympia. Her cape was fabulous and the gym was quite the spectacle as well.

    Overall though, I wasn't all that impressed with the gym leaders this time around.

    Korrina is my favorite. She was the one who let Lucario come with me on my adventure and now he is my strongest pokemon in X at level 89. (Sorry I'm just really attached to my Pokemon.)
     
    Wulfric. Don't care about the controversy of a weak 8th Gym Leader. if you face him with no Fire, Fighting, or Steel types or attacks he can be plenty hard~

    Clemont is really the only one I like of the 8 Gym Leaders, however I have a love/hate relationship with Wulfric. I think he is quite funny at times, but, when I was doing a mono-normal type Nuzlocke, Avalugg was a nightmare to my nearly all physical team.
     
    Valerie, just cuz when I first played through, i didn't bother to look up the strengths and weaknesses for fairy, so i went in blind. Brought me back to when i first started playing pokemon when i didn't know anything at all.
     
    My faves are especially Valerie, Clemont and Olympia because I love their designs. Viola and Korrina get a mention as well, the former because she uses Vivillon (I love that cute butterfly to death) and the latter for the whole Mega Evolution successor thing and of course she's cute as well.
     
    I like Korrina and Wulfric, Korrina cos she introduces you to Mega-evo. Which is like the best thing in the game. Wulfric cos of his gym really
     
    I have 3 favorites..

    Valerie, just based on her design.. the eyes are a bit creepy though, but I totally dig her outfit.
    Olympia, simaluar to Valerie but with a crazy pants gym as well. She looks like a wizard, which is awesome.

    Wulfric is probably my favorite of favorites because he makes me laugh in so many ways. For one, it's how I imagine this dude talking.. which would sound like a big Russian dude who doesn't prononuce his words very well.. basically Gregor from Fire Emblem. (who already was one of my favorites) Secondly, his design. Holy crap. Everyone else has these fancy crazy designs.. Wulfric is just that potbellied dude in a wifebeater shirt with a ski jacket around his neck like some kind of human polar bear. He doesn't look like he belongs at all, and it's kind of hilarious. He seems so laid back. Kind of sucks he's an Ice gym though..
     
    I don't really know why but I liked Ramos the most. I still think that they could have made him stronger as there are good Grass-type Pokémon available in the game and made him the eight Gym Leader. Like, give him Venusaur with Mega Evolution, Trevenant and a couple others and voilá - awesome Gym Leader. But no, instead he had no role in the game in any way except being the fifth Gym Leader and he sucked. Really hard. Also I noticed that Olympia didn't have any kind of action either outside of her Gym pretty much like Ramos and Valerie which is sad because those three were my favorite Gyms actually. I pretty much hated Wulfric because of his Ice-type specialization as Ice-type is so weak against Fire- and Fighting-type. *sigh*
