Favorite mascot legendary pair?

What games have your favorite mascot/cover legendaries? I have to say Johto since Ho-Oh and Lugia are just awesome imo ❤️

For me it's Ho-Oh and Lugia, as well. I also like Kyogre, but I'm not much of a fan of Groudon, to be honest.

It's not only about the legendaries themselves, though. Looking at the cover art itself: I prefer the old art style. Not to say that I think the newer ones look bad. I just don't find them as appealing.

I understand! I liked the older art too, especially the painterly style of Ho-Oh and Lugia in the originals. The classic Kyogre and Groudon art is great too. But sometimes I'm not sure if I say that because of nostalgia or that I genuinely liked them more.

On that note, I can't forget my bias towards Unova and Zekrom <3

Lugia is my favourite and Ho-Oh is my close second, so definitely gen 2. I also like Xerneas and Kyogre, but I'm not a fan of their counterparts (Groudon is ok, just not great).

Lugia and Ho-Oh hands down! Ho-Oh used to be my favorite Pokémon (it's still my favorite Legendary) and Lugia has a cool design. I also like how they nod to the Asian phoenix and dragon motif.

I'd say either Reshiram and Zekrom or Dialga and Palkia. They're some of my favorite legendaries and there is some nostalgia bias there but I just like their designs and the inspirations behind them a lot.

literally the exact same answer. Dialga and Pialka top 1, and Reshiram and Zekrom a solid second.

Hey guys! I just joined the community. I have these really glittery cards with Japanese writing and a specific Pokémon on the front, and on the back has another Pokémon but on a white background. Any ideas the make and year this came out?
