I've never much cared for poison-types, but I have always loved Spinarak/Ariados. I especially like how Spinarak essentially has an emoticon on its abdomen. I like spiders - when they're not in my face, at least - so the designs are pretty appealing to me.

Drapion gets a vote as well, because both of the main ones in the DPPt anime - J's and Paul's - were serious badasses. When Drapion came out of it's Pokeball, **** went down. Plus it looks pretty intimidating as well.

So i dont really like to many poison types although theyre awesome and i dont hate them theyre just not an essential on my team.

But Dragalge really caught my eye in 6th gen idc what others say its an amazing poision type, the type combination is cool and it can really be utilized in battle.

While I'm not the biggest on pure poisons(says the guy who made a thread about them), I like pleanty of dual-typed poisons, I decided to choose Crobat and Drapion for the time being.

I LUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRVVVVEE Crobat!!!!!!!111!!!1!!!one! Whenever I catch a Zubat in a nuzrun, 95% of the time it has an attack boosting nature. All of the Crobats I've raised have been major badasses as a result, ESPECIALLY THE LATEST ONE. But I won't reveal too much because that's from a run I plan to document.

I tried using a Drapion in a Black 2 run, and It proved to be a neat staple. Sper-effective ban(forgot name)+Decent nature+fangs=FTW. Scolipede could be cool, but it's friend has the edge here.

Scolipede definitely gets my vote. I fell in love with it the minute I saw one in Pokemon Black, and just had to get it during my next playthrough. Sadly it never really happened. But hey, it always has a spot in my heart. <3

Poison isn't really a type that I like. My vote goes to the Venipede line because of their outstanding speed, with the bonus of Scolipede having Speed Boost!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the polls this week!

This poll saw a trio of Kanto Pokemon families take charge, combining for 94 votes across 79 voters. Leaving the other Pokemon behind in a cloud of smog, it was eventually Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur taking the podium in the Poison-type poll, ensuring their spots in the finale. Congrats to them!

If you haven't already, be sure to go check out the results of the Steel-type poll that was held this week as well. And just a heads up, but FPT HQ is experiencing some minor technical difficulties, so the next round of polls may not be up until sometime late this evening, or tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for your patience!

Damn, I missed the voting.

Had I been in time, I would've voted for the Bulbasaur line (classic), Weedle line (gotta love Beedrill), both Nidos (love the design and concept), Zubat line (Zubat's one of my favorites), Spinarak line (I love spider Pokémon), Dustox, Seviper, Skorupi line (I love scorpions), and Venipede line (one of the best-designed evolution families imo, Scolipede is very badass).

I honestly think there's any type that I don't like. Poison may not be one of my favorites, (although Haunter is in my top 10 faves), but there's no shortage of mons that I'm very fond of.

i didn't saw this poll at time, but bulbasaur is my favourite and it won, so i'm happy xD (it is my all time favourtie poke after all)

SCOLIPEDE FOR LIFE!!!!! I've talked about this thing 451359812631343864523 times, including in the Bug-type thread, so I don't think I need to go on about it again.

But other than that one, I also like Roserade for its design (those red and blue flowers and its white head are neat) and its huge Special Attack stat. I also like Nidoking for the fact that it gets so many cool moves to use, and Sheer Force for a hidden ability.
