Favorite Pokemon track?

    What's your favorite Pokemon track of all time?
    It can be from any Pokemon game, or even a remix from a totally different game like Smash Bros. as long as it is a Pokemon track.

    But remember, game tracks only, no Anime openings or Movie songs.

    For me it's got to be:


    I am in love with the trumpets in the intro and the rest of the track is just gloriously epic and gets you really hyped to challenge the Elite Four. Plus this was the first time we had a separate track for the Elite Four so it made battling them all the more memorable. :)

    Omg yes, Gen 3 had a lot of epic tracks but Gen 4 had so many beautiful pieces like Eterna Forest, The Lakes, and Jubilife City during the night. xD
     
    My favourite will always be Professor Elm's Lab theme, from the Johto games but especially the originals :)

    Pokémon Silver was my first game, and the moment I stepped into Elm's Lab and not only experienced a music change, but to hear that piece of music in particular completely blew me away. I stood for ages in the Lab just listening to the music before finally progressing with the main game lol :) There would also be many times where I'd Fly back to New Bark Town during my adventure to visit (not my mother as you'd expect lol) but the Lab and all its musical glory :)


    To this day I can't listen to this and NOT experience warm fuzzy feels lol :)

    Well anyway, it would definitely be this:



    The track itself is surprisingly uplifting, but in the same way it ups the pressure. It's as if it's telling you to hurry, and it really gets my blood pumping for the battles ahead. I also love the small remix of the track "Time Gear" you can hear at the end. Overall, it's just a really beautiful piece of game music.

    Which song from the Pokemon Games is your favorite? Mine is the Giratina Battle from Platinum
     
    Frontier Brain battle theme from DPPt and HGSS will always be one of my favorites; regardless of how many times I listen, really, it never seems to get boring for me. What would've been even better is if they had made this one an Elite Four or Champion music; this way, we would've been able to hear it more often. Alongside, I also like Cynthia's theme.

    Aside from battle music, I love Pallet Town song from FireRed and LeafGreen. It's slow-paced, and very soothing.

    Miror B theme is absolutely glorious. <3
     
    I don't know why, but I love the HG/SS bike theme :) Maybe it is because I was on my bike so often? :P
     
    I have quite a few favorite tracks from the franchise, but these are the first to come to mind for me:

    Battle! Champion Iris (Black 2 and White 2) - While this track some have found questionable compared to other Champion themes, I have it as a favorite of mine for the fact that it really makes you feel like you're in for an awesome time. That starry rainbow battlefield that the game throws you into for the fight, and i'm like WHOA, what am I playing?! Not fitted for a typical Champion, but one around the character's age with a team of dragon and dinosaur themed Pokémon? Absolutely. It's just pure undiluted awesomeness, and a blast for me and is one of my favorite things about this game.

    Battle! Xerneas/Yveltal (X and Y) - This one is easily among my favorites for very similar reasons to the above track, minus the "not fitted for a typical legendary" part. Throw it in with the fight against Xerneas/Yveltal where you catch it, and it makes for a rocking theme.

    Vast Ice Mountain Peak (Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky) - A track that fits very well with the environment you take as you proceed through it, it's such an empowering track that really compels you to go forward and save the future. As if you can blast through anything, that's what this theme is to me - one that really makes you feel like flying free.

    Bittercold Phase Two (Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity) - This track, oh my unbelievably overthrown goodness is this one outstanding. Words cannot do it justice. This may very well be my favorite track in the history of the franchise. Too bad it's in such an underwhelming game ):

    Mt. Coronet (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum) - When scaling the mountain this track is another that I find to be epic and fitting the mood for what you're about to do.

    So yeah, just a few of mine.
     
    Most of Hoenn's routes! I especially like the ones around Fortree and Mauville, it gives a sense of adventure. I'm also a big fan of much of Johto's tracks too, like Goldenrod and most of the routes.
     


    Cynthia's Battle Theme has been my favorite for years.

    My absolute favorite has got to be the piano intro with Cynthia. (Champion Cynthia on the Super Music Collection) I was immediately captivated by it. So chilling, but so beautiful. So intense, yet so calm. A very unique combination and one that definitely fits this champion very well.

    Other notable themes which I like:

    Battle! (Steven) is just awesome and fits Steven so well. It doesn't really fit Wallace, in my opinion.

    Skyarrow Bridge is a very jolly piece.

    Dendemille Town is the BEST town theme I've ever heard.

    Aqua/Magma Hideout is also worth mentioning. It sounds as though you're infiltrating the base undercover.

    Gonna go with the remake of the original Champion Battle theme in X/Y. It's not used anywhere in the game though. Pretty sure it was stored deep in the game; someone managed to extract it. But gonna say now: it is amazing! They really overdid themselves with this one. It's a little similar to B/W; due to the new instruments and such, they could produce a much better quality one. Definitely would recommend checking it out.

    A also like Fallarbor Town's music a lot. In the original games, I would normally save here because of the music, and less importantly the feel. It just looked like a place I could really relate to. I still visit it once in a while just to listen to the music. Seriously, it is so beautiful <33
     
    I really like the rival music in hg/ss. I don't know why... for some reason it just makes me feel so pumped up and ready to take on anything my rival throws at me! Not to mention the rival in that game can be pretty mean right before you battle. His attitude coupled with the music just gets me raring to go!
