I'm torn between Ice- and Normal-Types. I definitely prefer using Ice-Types in battle (their attacks are generally more effective and have beautiful animations), but more of my top-favorite Pokémon are Normal-Type.

Fire/Fighting. Yep, the most overused Fire starter type but then again, i do like the typing mainly for its rather nice combination of STAB moves such as Flare Blitz and High Jump Kick in the same pokemon.

But if talkinga bout singular typings then my answer is still there. Fire and Fighting. both "elements" somehow are representative of the hot-blooded action hero kind of thing.

Never been sure as to why, though I have always found the concept of lightning as an element in media to be fascinating. Would make sense then that I like the one type in pokemon based on that. :P

Poison is my favourite class of Pokémon. They got a bad deal in earlier generations I think, like Bug, but now they have great attacks and potency.

Second to that is Normal. I love the design of Normal monsters generally and they have great versatility in terms of access to different moves.
