Agree. A common thing among them (besides you becoming a pokemon to save the world), is the heart-wrenching ending. ALWAYS. That's what makes the PMD series appealing to the general audience. For kids, they wanted the playablity, graphics and such, but to us more learned people, the story is where the game is at its best.

I had a hard time between mystery dungeon and XD gale of darkness...but I went with XD. I loved that game. When I get a gamecube controller i'm going to start it over I haven't played it in years great spinoff!

Colosseum's great setting alone makes it the best. Orre was unforgettable, and it's great contrast with the other regions only makes that better. Other regions were filled with technological cities, ancient temples, and vast forests, all threatened only by a few inept groups of baddies. However, Orre was desolate and almost post-apocalyptic, filled with a few thrown together cities, ruins, and deserts, which were home to Cipher, a threatening corporation hell-bent on creating and enslaving super-strong Shadow Pokemon. Plus, Colosseum has the same great battle system that the main series games have.

My goodness, I LOVE Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games.

I usually get too emotionally involved with the plot...I cry for hours on ends, and I get nightmares sometimes.

When Red/Blue rescue team first came out, I was pretty much in love. I was a Mudkip and my partner was a Chikorita. I played the game foreeeveeer. Until I beat the story. It got boring after that. :(

I started playing Colosseum a few days back and then I thought I'd give XD a shot even though I knew I didn't like it as much as Colosseum so I'm currently playing through both and ironically, I think I'm enjoying and playing XD more than Colosseum my point being that these two games are brilliant and IMO the best spin-offs with Ranger/MD close behind.

Coloseum and XD are my favorite spin-off and I hope they make a sequel of XD someday.

I love PKMD, all of them. The series have great music, awesome pictures & an amazing storyline. The best part is you get to recruit Pokemon. I hope they're make a new one with BW Pokemon in it.

Pokemon Channel

My favorite is Pokemon Channel, because I really enjoyed playing that game! :D

I hope Nintendo would make game like Pokemon Channel again someday, cause I'm definitely buying it! :)

I love the mystery dungeon series, they are the only side games that I've played the entire story on!
