Feraligatr 7-Star Tera Raid Solo Strategies

Announced the next 7-star raid: Feraligatr with Tera: Dark. Runs from November 1-3 and November 8-10 (in UTC time). What kind of solo strategies are you planning?
__________

First off, what is it going to bring? Likely has its Hidden Ability, Sheer Force. Presumably takes advantage of that too. Guesses something like:
  • Waterfall/Liquidation
  • Crunch/Lash Out
  • Psychic Fangs (for Fighting types)
  • Rock Slide (for Bug types)

Really wants to see Lash Out. Turns the raid into something more unique. Discourages Intimidate somewhat.

Other possible options: Screech, Dragon Dance/Curse/Swords Dance, Breaking Swipe, a weak-ish Metal Claw for Fairies, or one of several other moves that do not help against Dark's weaknesses (like Ice Punch).

Some ideas:
  • Scrafty. Double-resists Lash Out, if it has it. Nullifies Psychic Fangs.
  • Lucario. Delivers good special-based attacks.
  • Chesnaught. Resists both the Dark and Water moves. Has a solid Body Press (or Drain Punch).
  • Avalugg. Eats up the damage from even Rock Slide pretty well, assuming no boosting move.
  • Corviknight. Bounces back any Screeches with Mirror Armor. Manages a Body Press set just fine.
  • Primarina. Resists the Water and Dark moves.
  • Lurantis with a physical set. Gets Contrary, Superpower, and Leech Life. Reverses Screech with Contrary. Could also do Worry Seed to cut down on damage from Sheer Force.

Recognizes several others that could do stuff too (like Water/Fighting types, Iron Hands, and Drain Punchers). Might be a good raid for Corviknight and Contrary Pokemon if Screech is prevalent. Saw no standout Clear Body/White Smoke Pokemon, unfortunately.

Released the raid.

Nature: Adamant (+Attack / -Special Attack)
Ability: Sheer Force
Moves: Crunch, Liquidation, Psychic Fangs, and Ice Punch
Out-of-turn moves: Swords Dance (start of raid), Earthquake, and Dragon Dance.

Resets your stats once, at 80% health, apparently. Clears its debuffs at 65% health, according to Serebii. Also steals a Tera Orb charge after about the first turn.

Went in blind. Rolled Tauros, Dundunsparce, and Umbreon as partners. Aced it with Avalugg (Tera: Fighting). Ended with 45% or so of the timer left. Ate a critical super-effective Psychic Fangs like a champion (about 120 damage). Arguably made the raid easier with Sheer Force. Never worried about Liquidation stat drops.

Good ol' Koraidon did it again, I just replaced Shell Bell with Expert Belt and Taunt with Breaking Swipe.

Koraidon
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Orichalcum Pulse
Tera: Fighting
Item: Expert Belt
EV's: 252 Atk, I don't remember the rest because it's so old build
- Swords Dance
- Collision Course
- Drain Punch
- Breaking Swipe

Used Breaking Swipe until I could terastallize, then used Drain Punch and two Sword Dances when Koraidon had enough HP. Finished the match with Collision Course.

I used my trusty ol' Azumarill. I used several Mud-Slaps to lower Feraligatr's accuracy, one Belly Drum, and several Play Roughs. It took 4 tries with online teammates, though. I did not attempt the Solo strategy because 1) I did not have time to build a new Pokémon and 2) I don't have a Koraidon.

I've been farming it with Koraidon as poor Feraligatr becomes really easy with it, but just to show off something else that can do it:

Spoiler:

Bug Tera, Shell Bell Scizor. 252 Attack, 252 Defense, 4 HP EV's. Knows:
-Lunge.
-Focus Energy (never actually clicked it)
-Iron Defense
-Swords Dance

Got unlucky at the start with an instant crit from Feraligatr... went down on turn 2 because of it. Still came out on top, but made my turn 1 Iron Defense useless lol. Might be better to just Lunge straight away to get some HP back and undo it's +2 Attack.
Got outsped turn 2 as well, so 2 wasted turns + the death waiting penalty. A bit better luck with crits early on and Scizor shouldn't even go down at all.
Unless Feraligatr crits you can outheal it's damage.
Keeping it's Attack buffs in check with Lunge is important though. Living one +2 attack goes just fine (aside from crits), but it becomes troublesome if you don't.

Before Scizor I tried really hard to make Araquanid work... unfortunately it has no attack boosting moves and attack cheer is better of not used until after the buff clear. Also takes more damage from Crunch early on than you can heal. Ended up giving up on it.
