That's actually an interesting idea, but I doubt it.
Since Gil is relatively hard to come by (so far), it would be bad on the gm's part to do something like that.

Perhaps gil is needed to recruit mercenary-types?

Or maybe he could have a mechanism which regenerates gil or something? Maybe corpse looting as a passive skill? Sounds like a wild theory though.

Or mafias have more gil since they are outnumbered, as a manner of game balancing.

Edit : I insist on my gut feeling that Shadow's dog will be really useful, but heck I've been wrong before.

well there should be a healer somewhere. so im not too worried at the moment. as long as i dont go for another fight at least.

Going after these things solo is a huge risk when we don't even really know the rewards :/ especially considering you're then relying on a healer healing you, rather than someone that has been targeted in the night phase.
