Okay, another update from me.

I haven't beat the League yet; but, I'm getting close. I think I should beat it the first time tonight. Hopefully.
+Went through the masion on the island and collected the gym key.
+Went to the gym and beat Blaine. He gave me a little bit of a problem; however, I beat him on the first try.
+Went to One, Two and Three islands and delivered the meteorite after finding the girl.
+Returned to Kanto and swam to Pallet town; battling trainers along the way.
+Went to Viridian and took on Giovanni. Beat him with ease using my Wigglytuff (water pulse and psychic worked wonders against his Pokemon)
+Went to the league and headed toward Victory road.

- trained my Rattata in Viridian Forest (one level only).
- went to the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon and to get ready for the Pewter City Pokemon Gym Challenge.
- went to the Pewter City Pokemon Gym.
- battled the Gym Trainer and won.
- battled Brock and won.
- received the BOULDERBADGE, TM 39 (Rock Tomb) and got a TM Case.
- went to the Pokemon Center to heal my Pokemon.
- talked to Prof. Oak's Aide and received a Running Shoes.
- Pidgey evolved to Pidgeotto in the first fight in Route 3.
- battled all the trainers in Route 3.
- caught some Pokemon including Mankey, Nidoran(M), and Jigglypuff.
- reached Route 4.
- went to the Pokemon Center beside Mt. Moon to heal up my Pokemon.
- stored Mankey, Nidoran(M) and Jigglypuff in the Pokemon Storage System.
- entered Mt. Moon and fought some trainers and Team Rocket Grunts along the way.
- searched for a Clefairy but didn't find one.
- battled a Super Nerd for the fossils and won.
- obtained the Dome Fossil.
- exited Mt. Moon and reached the other side of Route 4.
- reached Cerulean City.
- healed my Pokemon up in the Pokemon Center.
- obtained the Powder Jar.
- went to the Cerulean City Pokemon Gym.
- battled the Gym Trainers and won.
- battled Misty and obtained the CASCADEBADGE and TM 03 (Water Pulse).
- battled Gary and won.
- obtained the Fame Checker.
- battled the trainers on Nugget Bridge and won.
- obtained the Nugget from the Team Rocket Grunt and battled with him and won.
- went to Route 25 and battled the trainers along the way.
- entered Bill's Sea Cottage and helped him.
- obtained the S.S. Ticket.
- went back to Cerulean City and healed my Pokemon in the Pokemon Center.
- entered the robbed house and fought another Team Rocket Grunt and obtained TM 28 (Dig)
- entered the Underground Path in Route 5 and headed for Route 6.
- battled the trainers along the way.
- reached Vermilion City.
- went to the Pokemon Center to get my Pokemon healed up.
- obtained the VS Seeker.
- went to the Pokemon Fan Club and obtained the Bike Voucher.
- went to the Fishing Brother's House and obtained the Old Rod.
- went back to Cerulean City to get the Bike Voucher exchanged for a Bike.
- wandered around in Diglett's Cave and caught a Diglett.

Yay- i'm done! Final update-
+I saved before the League, and went to face Lorelei.
+To be honest, i wasn't impressed with how long it took to beat her, so i turned off, and went to train.
+After a while, i'd grinded Pinsir to level 80.
+I went back and saved in front of the league again.
+This time, i downed all of Lorelei's Pokes with one hit..
+The only place i had problems was with Agatha- Pinsir's only move capable of hitting the ghost types is Rock Tomb. Nevertheless, i beat her.
+Lance did not take to Pinsirs attack stat very well, and each were killed with 2 strengths or less.
+Rival was pretty easy- i didn't know he'd get rid of Pidgeot! I killed.. His Heracross with Strength, his Tyranitar with Brick Break, his Venusaur with Strength and Earthquake, his Alakazam with Earthquake, his Gyarados with... Beedrill. Lol, Gyarados killed Pinsir with Hyper Beam, and was on very low HP. Sent out Beedrill and one Aerial Ace later... poof. (I cant remember what else was on his team but i beat it anyways.. Lol.)

I've started my quest.

Starter: Squirtle
Locations:
About to leave Pallet Town for Oak's parcel.
Trained on Route 1 till level 7.
Reached Viridian City, and picked up Oak's parcel, travelled back and forth once again. By the time I reached there again, Squirtle grew to Lv. 8.
Walked around Viridian Forest and trained to Lv. 13
Reached Pewter City and healed at the Poke Center, challenged the gym.
Defeated Brock :D Squirtle is now Lv. 15.
Squrtile evolved into Wartortle!
Reached the Poke Center outside Mount Moon (the joys, a huge cave ><), saved the game and started the trek inside with a Lv. 18 Wartortle.
Reached Cerulean City, defeated Misty first try (it felt weird fighting her with water pokemon xD)
Arrivied at Vermillion City, Recieved the OLD ROD, healed up at the Poke Center and Saved the game. Wartortle is now at Lv. 28, gonna go in search of Magikarp and Poliwag tomorrow ;)

- defeated all the trainers in Route 9 and 10.
- entered Rock Tunnel and wandered around while battling some trainers along the way.
- reached Lavender Town.
- went to Route 8 and skipped some trainers in the route.
- reached Celadon City.
- obtained the Coin Case, Tea and HM 02 (Fly).
- picked some hidden coins in the Game Corner.
- played the slot machines in the Game Corner to gain some coins for Clefairy and Porygon.
- saved the game.

Another Update! :D

Entered Rock Tunnel and made it through to the end with Wartortle evolving into Blastoise (Lv. 37.)
Went into the Lavender Tower, and defeated Rival, grew Blastoise to Lv. 38.
Saved on Route 8.

not got the time tonight either, busy with school work. Will do some more tomorrow ;)

Hey guys, first time poster here but a player of Pokemon for yonks.

I'll sign up for Psychic on Leaf Green. Seeing as I've leant my GBA to a friend, I'll be using an emulator.

I'll keep you guys updated.

EDIT: OK, started off with a Bulbasaur. Soloed with it through to Cerulean.

Caught an Abra with Synchronize in Route 24. Had it out front for Route 25, and switched in Ivysaur to share XP. It evolved into a Kadabra after beating all the trainers there, with Ivysaur at 25. Ivysaur is now in the PC.

My current party:

1 - Confusion

EDIT2: Well, I thought Misty's Starmie was going to be a problem but I managed to kill it with Kadabra at level 23. Went into battle, did Reflect with Staryu out, Psybeam KO'd it, then Disabled Starmie's Water Pulse, then 3 Psybeams (with Starmie using Recovery inbetween) knocked it out :)

Kadabra's now at level 24, moving onto Vermilion City. Probably not going to catch a Drowzee there, but we'll see.

Kadabra's moveset: Psybeam, Reflect, Disable, Teleport.

EDIT3: Beat the Vermilion Gym, now in Lavender Town. Both Kadabra and Mr.Mime are level 36 now, and because Mr.Mime is traded it isn't obeying me. Sucks.

EDIT4: Just beat the Saffron Gym, two more to go. Now on my way to Seafoam Islands.

The Saffron Gym was surprisingly easy. Jynx took down the first two, and half the HP of the third just using Ice Punch, and then Slowbro KO'd Alakazam with 2 Headbutts.

I'm also starting to realise that pure Psychic is pretty effortless. Besides Psychic itself, it's either effective or super effective against every other type. Not to mention that since two out of the five pokemon in my team are traded, they're really easy to level up (boosted XP bonus).

EDIT5: I beat the eighth gym with ease, thanks to Jynx (Ice is super effective against Ground). Now on my way to the elite four, currently in Victory Road.

I realised that having Lapras (my HM slave) in the Hall Of Fame looked kinda sus - but I swear I never used it. Anyway, so the second time round I made sure I deposited all my HM slaves.

Obviously, the Ghost and Fighting elites were push overs, and Jynx pretty much sweeped the Dragon. The Ice one wasn't too hard because of the low levels. And again, Jynx sweeped my Rival's Pidgeot, Rhydon and Exeggutor.

For someone looking to try this challenge, I'd recommend you try a harder type :/ Psychic was wayyyy too easy.
